[Chat/Message Boards] Message Board Removal Feedback
Feedback regarding the removal of message boards from Fantasy Baseball in the 2023 season.
Fantasy league message boards are not going to be available for the current season however you can still access historical message board posts through your fantasy profile. You can continue to communicate with your league via Fantasy Chat, email and commissioner notes. Moving forward we are investing in chat as the best place for league communication and will be adding threading, pinning, polls and more. We welcome your feedback below about how your league used message boards to help us make future improvements.

There is no reason for this. Like why?

I don't use the Yahoo pp, so I can't use Fantasy Chat, Just another horrible move by Yahoo. Always trying to fix things that are not broken. My one league had to leave Yahoo because of this dumb move

I don’t use the yahoo app, so I don’t have access to fantasy chat. As a result I don’t get league communications

Justin Butler commented
Stupid. Why try to fix something that worked. WTF is threading anyway? Does not matter, these ***** just do what ever they want and then ask how you like it. ******* ********.

Yahoo is going to lose all of its leagues where people do there own thing, we will just pick up and move on! Next to impossible to hold League discussions in the stupid chat box, this isn't Instagram with DMs, wake up and smell the coffee and bring back League chat as it was in in the past. Change isn't always for the best!😔

I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU TOOK AWAY THE MESSAGE BOARD!!!
WHAT A BLATANT MOVE OF ANTI FREEDOM OF SPEECH.
WHATS NEXT? CHARGING US TO PLAY OR FIXING THE GAME BECAUSE
I'M A REPUBLICAN. I'VE BEEN PLAYING YAHOO FANTASY SINCE 2006 AND I
AM SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING GOING TO ESPN FOR FANTASY! YOU GUYS SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOKENESS IN FULL EFFECT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please bring message boards back. Removing the message boards was a terrible decision.
-
Jeremy Gieseke commented
The message board format was far more useful for our league to easily find specific issues to discuss. Chat is annoying and difficult to find what you are looking for. Bring back message boards!!!

I'm guessing this is some form of more "woke" bs. I'm checking out FANTRAX as noted by Green Raven below. Except for one friends league I've been in for years, this is my last Yahoo league.

Matt Ward commented
Bring back message boards, I don't see why they would be removed? They're extremely helpful for my league, and this is a very negative development.
-
Bill Roebuck commented
Why did the message board go away in the first place? Please bring it back!
-
John Sugden commented
This is still causing chaos for my league. We may have to fold the league because people are not communicating via other methods. This is so insanely ridiculous ...
-
BJ Cruse commented
We need the Message Boards back for our League. The current system does not work at all unless you are using your mobile app. Even then it is not as organized as the past message boards were.

David Jeys commented
Not a good plan, where the heck is fantasy chat?
-
Jason Little commented
This seems ill-advised and harmful to those who play. Some don't always check emails and I don't see where this Fantasy Chat is.

Not sure I understand the point of removing the message boards. This is how leagues communicate and yet after all these comments suggesting that it is put back, you have not done so. I guess our feedback really isn't as welcomed as you state or else you would have listened by now.
