[Chat/Message Boards] Message Board Removal Feedback
Feedback regarding the removal of message boards from Fantasy Baseball in the 2023 season.
Fantasy league message boards are not going to be available for the current season however you can still access historical message board posts through your fantasy profile. You can continue to communicate with your league via Fantasy Chat, email and commissioner notes. Moving forward we are investing in chat as the best place for league communication and will be adding threading, pinning, polls and more. We welcome your feedback below about how your league used message boards to help us make future improvements.

Is there a timeline for a concrete explanation from Yahoo? Why is no yahoo admin responding to all complaints? We deserve explaining ASAP!
This post is breaking engagement records! More than 600 messages in less than a week and the discontent is unanimous.

WHY???

Bring the message boards back you idiots. They are an essential part of how fantasy leagues operate. Leagues are leaving for Fantrax. If you don't want to lose your market share, you'll realize how important message boards are. I know you want in my phone and taking message boards away accomplishes that. You're already in my phone with the app. You're going to lose in the long run.

Ummm... this is easily the dumbest idea ever. My keeper league uses the message board for it's draft. Looks like I'll be switching.

Did Elon Musk buy yahoo? What a joke, yahoo is a sad company- its fantasy sports was all it has left. Good luck to you.

Why?for what reason?we need the message board for our league to work…sometimes people just need to leave things alone…some of us have been using yahoo for 20 plus years for our fantasy leagues…I don’t think we can do without a message to communicate with each other we may have to go to ESPN or something!

Horrible idea getting rid of the message boards. Incredible that you have done this ludicrous decision.

So let me understand this. We have 8 keeper leagues per profile, all being forced to draft via chat, which incorporates all 8 leagues AND all sports into one chat window? Oh yeah, that's much better...BRILLIANT!

I'm shocked at how short sighted this decision is. I understand that the boards aren't used much in a standard league, but keeper leagues rely on it.

This is an absolute TERRIBLE idea. Message boards are my leagues main way of communication for everything. The chat part of the app is F'ing terrible and you can't access it on desktop devices. This is definitely going to cause major consideration to move to a different platform.

Twenty keeper leagues, 20. We draft via the message board. Some of the leagues are over 20 years old. NOBODY wants to have to open, read and respond to 100 emails per day for two months, especially commissioners! We will be moving all leagues to another provider as soon as possible.

No message boards is causing unwanted chaos. Multiple managers want out and others hate using the app so not matter yahoos solution many guys are just angry and want to reset up dynasty/keeper leagues on other websites. Please yahoo reconsider this move. I’ve been playing yahoo fantasy sports for more than 20 years and am also considering alternatives if the messages boards aren’t brought back

This could be my good bye to Yahoo fantasysports. Message boards are critical means of communication for leagues. Without mesage boards, all leagues will be boring, I'm gonna give it another week or so to see if yahoo sees they have made a huge mistake. If it's not brought back, I'm done !!

This is just a terrible idea. Almost as bad as sending an email with a bunch of good options on how to handle the fantasy football championship and than taking the laziest approach possible. Giving Bills and Bengals players a 0 in cash leagues and ending the season. 5 months of time wasted

Judging by the overwhelming amount of negative feedback we can be sure they now know they screwed up. Now we will find out if they care. Will they fix their mistake or will they double-down on stupid? I hope they put the message board back in place because I really like Yahoo fantasy baseball (even though I would like to see some tweaks). But without a message board we will have to switch websites because we can't run our slow-draft dynasty leagues without it.

Why would you not have the chat message board fully baked before you take away the message board. Bush League move.
