[Chat/Message Boards] Message Board Removal Feedback
Feedback regarding the removal of message boards from Fantasy Baseball in the 2023 season.
Fantasy league message boards are not going to be available for the current season however you can still access historical message board posts through your fantasy profile. You can continue to communicate with your league via Fantasy Chat, email and commissioner notes. Moving forward we are investing in chat as the best place for league communication and will be adding threading, pinning, polls and more. We welcome your feedback below about how your league used message boards to help us make future improvements.

Disabling a major feature with no notice was such a clown shoes move.
My league is ******. Thanks for creating a bunch of problems for me. All you had to do was email commissioners to let us know this was coming.
Unbelievable.

Horrible idea, just unbelievable. The message boards are the main means of communication for the league and if you take this away if will destroy leagues, managers arent going to stick around for this nonsense.

This is a ridiculously stupid move done with no notice whatsoever. Clearly, Yahoo couldn't care at all what their users and/or league commissioners say, so the only obvious solution is to move your leagues to Fantrax, CBS or ESPN before the season starts.

Chat is trash at Yahoo. Bring back the message boards. Without them we are moving to Fantrax after 20+ years at Yahoo. What a clown move, someone deserves a pink slip for the way this was handled.

allow people to chat from lap top not just app on phone

This is a terrible idea. Keep the message boards. We have enough chat opportunities on other platforms but the message board is critical to daily communication

BRING...IT....BACK. I use the message boards between 10-30 times a year. This is ******* horrible. Who do you have making these decisions? If you are paying for bad ideas please I'll take a job with absolutely no standards. BRING IT BACK

Taking away the message board takes away our voices. Bring it back!

Our league is an old well established league. During the season, we use the message board daily. It is vital to league communication.

Eliminating message boards is a horrible idea. The message boards are the main way for league members to communicate. What is the reason that Yahoo eliminated them? Thanks for nothing.

This is a terrible idea. I can't have my phone at work. Thanks for not looking out for those of us that can't have a phone, nor allow the use of your chat popup on our work computers. The chat thing works, but the message boards have helped in our year to year dynasty league. Super unhappy with ya'll right now.

The comments were critically important to my league, as it served as the place where we posted our picks during the rookie portion of our drafts. I understand not needing it in public leagues where no one really knows each other, but in long term and dynasty/keeper leagues (like mine heading into our 20th year) it is critical to how our league communicates and operates. You should at least make it an option for commissioners like myself to select if we choose to have them. Make them league dependent. I'm not exaggerating when I say removing the comments has made my 16 team dynasty league (heading into year 20 as mentioned) consider moving platforms. We don't want to, but it might be our best option now.

It should now be obvious to everyone that Yahoo does not care what people want. Now the time has come for everyone to show Yahoo that they are "NOT" the only game in town. Look forward to seeing everyone at FANTRAX. The mere fact that 12 people can communicate with each other is more than the woke left who are now running Yahoo can bare. It speaks volumes about who is now running Yahoo fantasy baseball, and how the far left wants to silence people, even communication within a small group of 12 people.

I can't accurately convey my disappointment with the removal of the message boards in Yahoo Fantasy Leagues, especially since we were given no prior warning about it. All I can say is that it is a poor decision that you should immediately reconsider given the level of negative feedback I have seen. I guess it is a small thing to Yahoo but it is a large concern for many fantasy players since it is the primary method of communication for a lot of us. My baseball league, which is now in its 20th season, is considering a move to another site because of this. We are most certainly not alone. If I were you, I'd admit my mistake and change it back.
Sincerely yours,

We used message boards as the main area of communication on all league related (and other) issues. It was transparent and immediately available. It's absence clearly diminishes the Yahoo site for our league.

One word to save your leagues - FANTRAX.
It is free, has a very nice Message Board and the chat app is better (laptop option to click it up to full screen). Also a reputation for improving a lot constantly as in LISTENING to fantasy players' needs and wants. They also specialize especially in BASEBALL Fantasy which Yahoo has neglected as it's ugly step-child for years.
Our three dynasty leagues are all moved over there intact now thanks to our on the ball commish and co-commish.

This was a terrible decision and the last straw to moving all our leagues elsewhere.
