[Chat/Message Boards] Message Board Removal Feedback
Feedback regarding the removal of message boards from Fantasy Baseball in the 2023 season.
Fantasy league message boards are not going to be available for the current season however you can still access historical message board posts through your fantasy profile. You can continue to communicate with your league via Fantasy Chat, email and commissioner notes. Moving forward we are investing in chat as the best place for league communication and will be adding threading, pinning, polls and more. We welcome your feedback below about how your league used message boards to help us make future improvements.

Must switch platforms if you do not put them back. How are we supposed to communicate with the league? Odd choice. Please fix.

Also, just to be clear, our preference is to keep the message boards. I really don't understand the rationale behind this decision. Fantasy sports started as a social game. It's the one way that we're able to communicate in a group fashion. I can think of about 10 different features to cut before this one.

This is really important to our league. If message boards aren't going to be a thing going forward, we'll live with it, but we need access to prior years. If that isn't going to be possible at some point, please give us the ability to download and archive prior year data.

I just renewed a league that’s been in existence for over 20 years…20 years of discussion, problem-solving and interaction between friends…20 years of history…20 years of life. Yahoo has taken it all away. What’s wrong with you people?

This decision is insane! We are in a 20 year dynasty fantasy league and rely on league communication through the message boards. Including messages from past seasons that include traded future rights and draft picks. We will be forced to look into a different host for our league if this isn't reversed in the next few weeks.

What are you guys at Yahoo doing? Please reverse this stupid decision and put message boards back.

this is ridiculous. I am in 94 yahoo baseball leagues alone--i now have 12 IDs. I have never had a huge issue with the message boards---I have been commish in a lot of different sports on yahoo besides playing on yahoo. The commish can ban a players access to the board, not allowing them to write if they feel it has been abused. If you want to get rid of them in yahoo run public leagues thats cool, but to take away the message board in one fell swoop is unfair and I for one will look to join other arenas to play my fantasy sports

LISTEN TO THE PEOPLE! BRING THE BOARDS BACK!! If this is going to happen across all your fantasy leagues in all sports, your are digging your own grave! People need to communicate in the leauge, and not via some outside option like email or external message board. YOU ARE KILLING YOUR FANTASY SPORTS. If you can bring back the old message boards, you can ABSOLUTELY bring them back for this year!!!!!!

We need the message boards. This idea to not have them is really bad. Whoever thought of this is beyond help or hope. This shows that you don't care about your fantasy participants . Fantrax here we come. Please address this. Been playing since 2004 , and we have enjoyed having our leagues on yahoo . Until now. Fantasy players will go elsewhere for better service. Yes, the message board is part of your service . Trying to do a league without a message board is totally absurd. Someone ought to be ashamed for even considering this.

Without the message board would look to move leagues I play in elsewhere.

This is a central feature of my leagues. Regardless of 3rd party communication options it is essential to have a central communication channel that can be referenced for immediate news and for future reference. Many leagues use the message board, as well, to overcome some league specific options that are not standard yahoo options. Such as tracking minor league players that are not in the data base, performing a slow draft, etc

Please add back the message board. It is an essential tool of communication. Can’t believe you are removing the message board. We need that tool of communication to operate.

MOST LEAGUES CAN'T RUN THE WAY THEY ALWAYS HAVE WITHOUT IT!!! Whoever the idiot is that caused this to happened should be terminated immediately.

The silence from Yahoo is deafening! I've already moved my three Leagues to Fleaflicker. For very little money a month I can add Rotowire and have a real good fantasy site. FleaFlicker has always been easier to Commish anyway.
Yahoo is mud to me now!!

Why? Don’t do it! Needed for a well managed league.
