[Chat/Message Boards] Message Board Removal Feedback
Feedback regarding the removal of message boards from Fantasy Baseball in the 2023 season.
Fantasy league message boards are not going to be available for the current season however you can still access historical message board posts through your fantasy profile. You can continue to communicate with your league via Fantasy Chat, email and commissioner notes. Moving forward we are investing in chat as the best place for league communication and will be adding threading, pinning, polls and more. We welcome your feedback below about how your league used message boards to help us make future improvements.

Not having a message board makes it very difficult to set up leagues and communicate with managers. We will likely find a new format to use next season if it is not reinstalled. If we leave, I have zero reason to use Yahoo for anything. There are better search engines to use. I stay on Yahoo because of fantasy baseball and football

Bring the message boards back....These were used to track keepers, multi year trades, and overall league information that is visible by everyone. Our league will never use the chat feature since we're already friends and have group texts.

The chat is a nice feature but the message boards were integral. The message boards are the quickest and easiest way to disseminate information to the league where they can see it from both the app and browser. Furthermore the message boards are extremely redundant when every person already has some form of messenger, discord, Whatsapp!,etc. While forcing a competing product is good in theory it is more of a nuisance in actuality. I sincerely hope that the message boards will be back next year and more importantly are not removed from football leagues. As much as I love the Yahoo fantasy sports platform against all others, I would absolutely look to move both of my 15 year leagues to other sites if this is a permanent change.

Please put the message board back ! So much easier. Why is the answer when people are justifying their jobs always change for the sake of change ?

Please fix this, apologize, and never speak of it again. The chat things is awful.

Removing message boards is something that will make a huge yahoo fan leave yahoo. Its absolutely necessary for commissioners. Please change your position on this. Its one of the worst things you could do.

This is the first time I've left feedback for anything in my 42 years on this planet. That's how bad of an idea removing message boards is.
I just can't imagine that many resources are devoted to the message board that you couldn't keep it as option whilst enticing people to use chat. We've been with yahoo for 20 years but this will be the last if the message board is gone. (FYI I check the site 10% as often with no board)

The message boards were always important in my leagues because I used them to advertise my other leagues. Also used them to talk about what draft time would work for people.

Used it for multiple threads every year related to keepers, dues etc. Has already made the start of my league much more difficult.

I use it in many leagues, and it has almost always been the only way I have communicated with many leagues in the past. Please bring the message boards back.

This is really dumb. We used message boards all the time and this makes my job as commish harder. Please put the message boards back

Message boards allowed you to have discussions and threads on certain topics. Chat can become out of control w/ numerous topics going on at once.

I've been playing on Yahoo! for like 20 years and we are switching platforms next season if the message boards don't return ASAP. It's one of the biggest components of a fantasy league, especially a Keeper League like ours. The level of incompetence to think removing message boards is a good idea is really astounding.
