[Chat/Message Boards] Message Board Removal Feedback
Feedback regarding the removal of message boards from Fantasy Baseball in the 2023 season.
Fantasy league message boards are not going to be available for the current season however you can still access historical message board posts through your fantasy profile. You can continue to communicate with your league via Fantasy Chat, email and commissioner notes. Moving forward we are investing in chat as the best place for league communication and will be adding threading, pinning, polls and more. We welcome your feedback below about how your league used message boards to help us make future improvements.

I also find it odd that I am reading a message board to gather feedback about removal of a message board.

The message board was critical as it was how we posted the rules, voted on things like rule changes and draft dates, and we used it to track various items the yahoo website doesn't track for us, like player in our minor league designation rule and keepers. The message board going away really takes away from our experience. This was a terrible idea and we will have to get together to see if we can continue on yahoo. This is the only fantasy site I know without a message board.

We are moving our 22 year old Yahoo League.. to FanTraxx..
Hasn't been an easy glide over, but 100% of the participants KNOW that Yahoo has destroyed the annual excitement of coming into our Yahoo fantasy league. -

Yahoo is a kenite government data gathering agency, masquerading as a sports outlet. Censorship and socialism are their main concern. Constant threats against first amendment rights are their weapon. The lgbtq are in their glory between Google/ YouTube and Yahoo pushing their agenda.

Time for everyone to quit. Find another venue like Sleeper maybe.

I just read thru over 100 comments and EVERYONE of them has a problem with removing the message board. It may be the 1st time in history 100% of folks all agree.
Congrats Yahoo on your biggest blunder ever - hopefully you are smart enough to realize your customers dont like this move and you will correct before the season starts. -

This is one of the greatest reasons we need a message board.

I've personally used it for basic questions (what happens if someone exceeds the inning limit?). In one league, a trade was rejected and a participant asked why it was rejected. When two members explained why, the trade was redone in an acceptable way. -

chat needs to be brought back because before the start of the season you notice a 2 team same name user account and when its to late you give up playing and allowing a two team one user cheater in the league

You are ******* up the way things are done here.
You will pay the price! Not Us!
Bring back the communication that keeps our league alive.Player and Commish of 2 leagues since 2010.
This is a serious Mistake on Yohoo's part.

This is very frustrating. The message boards are the primary method of communication for our league. PLEASE BRING IT BACK!

“ Moving forward we are investing in chat as the best place for league communication and will be adding threading, pinning, polls and more.”. Not seeing any chat improvements which are needed in now. Bring back the message boards since yahoo chat is a joke

Stupid move. Several of the guys in my league don't bother to check the chat feature. Guaranteed there's going to be some communication fall through the cracks. Also, you've stripped me of any feasible means of recruiting new guys to my league with this move and disabling the chat feature in the mock drafts last year.

This is absolutely moronic. Fantasy sports are the only things propping up this Yahoo, and now you wish to ***** with them. It's like you're purposely trying to push traffic away.

My league does a minor league draft. We post our picks on the message board so we can all see them. No message board defeats the purpose. We are looking at alternatives, but one alternative is to leave Yahoo and jump to CBS or ESPN.

Yahoo has also taken away yearly and situational stats, so now we need to go to other websites for info... What makes Yahoo think we won't take our fantasy to other sites... Whomever is making these decisions apparently has no clue about what is necessary to compete in a fantasy league...
