[Chat/Message Boards] Message Board Removal Feedback
Feedback regarding the removal of message boards from Fantasy Baseball in the 2023 season.
Fantasy league message boards are not going to be available for the current season however you can still access historical message board posts through your fantasy profile. You can continue to communicate with your league via Fantasy Chat, email and commissioner notes. Moving forward we are investing in chat as the best place for league communication and will be adding threading, pinning, polls and more. We welcome your feedback below about how your league used message boards to help us make future improvements.

Chat does not work for any of the purposes people use Message Board in the leagues I am in. Is there any reason for it not to be there?

Check out FanTrax. I just started a league there. -

I think it's a mistake to take away the message boards. I know I used these to communicate and also allow everyone to easily see what decisions were made regarding the league... Also to note, not everyone uses the fantasy chat via Yahoo Sports, I know I rarely use it and I'm in 5 different leagues in Yahoo.

Please bring back the message boards. This feature is critical for managing a league, and getting trackable feedback from league managers. For Yahoo to remove this without a Beta test or feedback first, shows how quickly things can be taken away without a popular vote. Scary. I've been a consumer of Yahoo sports for 20 years and this will force me to take my friends and our business elsewhere.

If the Message Boards are GONE -- so are we. The Guys are exploring CBS' site now...

no one can find your fantasy chat button, where is it? everyone in our league used the message boards religiously; so this seems like a poor decision on yahoos part, but whatever at least make it easy to find. also whats going on with the player career stats? now it only shows game log; instead of their yearly stats like a baseball card. where can the career stats be found? so weird to change a system that was considered the best to now making everything worse. oh ya speaking of worst decision now when you click the news note to the right of a player data is all over and unorganized. what happened to everything being clean, precise, and useful; everything now seems like you shook everything up and threw it up on the page. it feels like whoever did this "remodel" has never played fantasy baseball or fantasy sports before in their life. Im a fantasy sports enthusiast and can help you get everything running properly if needed. please reach out

This is absolute nonsense. I agree with the comments stating that this must be some purposeful move to tank the fantasy sports offering. I only hang on to Yahoo since I have been running leagues on here for 20 years.
The message board is vital to handling keepers since we do not conform to Yahoo's canned keeper tools.
Without the message board we will move our leagues to ESPN, which again, is probably no skin off of yahoo's nose.
Of course without Fantasy Sports on here there is no reason to stay on the inferior Yahoo Mail, or MyYahoo as my homepage.

unfortunately it's to the point where i think this is what yahoo wants. i think theyve decided to give up on this free feature and cause a mass exodus so they can then look at the numbers and say "wow, users are way down, probably shouldnt have fantasy anymore." we're all threatening to leave and go to fantrax but i think that's what yahoo wants

Why get feedback from us if you aren't even going to respond, or best yet, reverse your moronic decision to get rid of the vital Message Board? Thousands of people have told you all what clowns, morons, idiots, and dumb ***** you truly are, indeed. Fire the idiots who got rid of them.

I will say I heavily disagree with the move to delete the message board first and foremost. If Yahoo wants to push the chat into more prominence, that’s cool, but it has to be more easily accessed. As commish a number of managers are having a hard time accessing it, and the chat will be cluttered with transactions so conversations in the chat will be splintered at best. Yahoo better pray Sleeper doesn’t start doing fantasy baseball or I have a feeling there will be a mass exodus to that platform.

We have been running a keeper baseball and basketball league since 2000 and this will destroy our long-running league. We use the message board for everything, trade discussions, vetoes, and replacing managers just to name a few. Please bring this back or we will need to find a new location for future leagues.

Bring back the message board! It is the lifeblood of any active fantasy league. The chat feature is an inadequate substitute. The point of the board is the communicate with the entire league and allow comments from all, it fosters league vitality. Without a message board, our league will almost certainly leave Yahoo

Message boards are critical to our league. We have a dynasty league and complete all our drafts through the Message boards. Yahoo eliminating thus is a joke. We have had this dynasty league for 15 years now and you just totally screwed our league. Why???????
