Trade protest/veto is random, broken and lacks transparency
When I think of who is reviewing the trade approvals, the wizard of oz is the first thing that comes to mind. Managers have no insight as to who or what(ai) is reviewing protests. That's not as bad as not providing a reason for why some protests are accepted and others declined. There is no good reason not to provide managers with a reason. As a diamond player who played high level baseball and works in sports analytics, I can't wrap my head around it. Most recent example is a trade of fernando tatis and reid detmers for luis castillo and yoshinobu yamaoto was vetoed. A day later a trade of Edwin diaz and luis arraez for Michael kopech and max meyer went through. Providing reasons for vetoes will allow managers to know what offers to make. The reason I had to write this on these hidden forums is because I got no reply from the email I sent. Not even a "thanks for the feedback" generic response. I'm extremely disappointed with yahoo fantasy sports
