[Chat/Message Boards] Message Board Removal Feedback
Feedback regarding the removal of message boards from Fantasy Baseball in the 2023 season.
Fantasy league message boards are not going to be available for the current season however you can still access historical message board posts through your fantasy profile. You can continue to communicate with your league via Fantasy Chat, email and commissioner notes. Moving forward we are investing in chat as the best place for league communication and will be adding threading, pinning, polls and more. We welcome your feedback below about how your league used message boards to help us make future improvements.

Wow. Why would you take away the message board, Yahoo? The app chat is not a suitable replacement for the league message board. You've inexplicably removed an essential league tool and severely impaired the fantasy baseball experience. Please do the right thing and bring it back.

Shambles of a decision to get rid, how are leagues meant to run offline drafts, discuss rule changes etc not everyone uses / wants to use the terrible app
If message boards aren’t back in time for football season it’ll be goodbye yahoo fantasy after 20 years

Bring back message board! I used it to communicate with the whole league! the chat does not work no one checks it!
Terrible idea of just getting rid of it!

The chat sucks. Why not just stick with the message board?

It's amazing that you've had more than a month of unanimous feedback from your customers and you still can't come to the conclusion that returning message boards is the right move. You've killed my 15+ year baseball league. Killed it. It's dead. I'm not re-upping my NCAA tournament bracket in protest. Hopefully you've removed message boards from football for next year so my commish in that league will kill Yahoo, too. Basketball next year? There's another.
All you had to do was care about your customers, but no...

Terrible idea, the message board was used regularly in my leagues.

bye yahoo this is a stupid idea ... fantasy sports is more of a social platform than anything else it does and you just removed the interaction ... what a bunch of idiots!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a terrible idea. We use the message board for weekly bidding in our H2H keeper league -- it's critical to how we've run it on this platform for 15 years. It consolidates all the bid threads in one place and makes it easy to see who won a bid. It's stupid to get rid of the message board function and doubly stupid to do it with no replacement. We've liked yahoo, but we'll move elsewhere given how important this is for how the league runs.

So why cant we still have Chat while you develop the new platform?
Makes no sense..

Message Boards are vital to this league as it is a Trader league. It is a head-2-head league. The Winning team can trade a player position-for-position to the losing team as long as the winning team's player is qualified for the stats posted in our league's Notes section. We post in the Message board who we are swapping. It allows the losing team or any team to verify that the winning team's player did qualify to make the trade valid.
Guessing we will have to use the email method now.
I read about Fantasy Chat but I don't see that anywhere. -

Massive L for Yahoo. Moving forward you will be investing in chat as the best place for league communication? No, moving forward *I* will be investing in other sites as the best place for fantasy because they actually have working message boards.

DON'T like it.

No message boards? That is part of what made this fun. Censorship at it's finest.

you should have kept the message board until a replacement was in place.

Worst decision ever. I am the commissioner of a league and the message boards are the easiest way to discuss Draft, Keepers, Rule changes, etc. Why take away something so useful?

Truly stupid. The chat function doesn't even operate on the website, which is, for me, a far preferable platform than the app. Many functions on the website are not available on the app.
This is the time we need message boards the most. Whatarya, tryin to save a few bucks? Can't tell me you're not profiting handsomely already.
Also really ****** me off that, in order to post a comment, you forced me to allow a third-party app access to my info when I was already signed in to Yahoo.

Terrible decision, much prefer the message board to chat and much more used in every league I have ever been in going back 15 years No idea who thought this was a good idea but they are mistaken. I've always used yahoo but this makes me seriously consider switching to a different platform.

I am commissioner of multiple leagues in multiple sports. We do ALL of our communication regarding drafts, trades, keepers, literally EVERYthing on message boards. I can't even find "CHAT", so how am I supposed to communicate with my leagues??? Seriously, where is chat??? I don't see it anywhere, and I have a 27" screen, so I don't think it's just hiding.
