Hi Melanie,
Basketball uses the IL and IL+ roster position:
- IL eligible designations - Injured (INJ) or Out For Season (OFS).
- IL+ eligible designations - Out (O) or Game Time Decision (GTD).
These statuses are determined by our data provider and are defined as:
- O - Projected to miss less than 7 days or players who are currently suspended.
- INJ - For players who are projected to miss or have already missed 7+ days or 3 games due to injury or personal reasons, whichever occurs first. If a player is injured mid-game, the day or game in which the injury occurs counts as the first day or game of the injury period.
- GTD - May or may not play, determined prior to the game's tip-off. This status may also be used for recently traded players.
