Expanded Consolation Bracket, 2 Week Champions Bracket
This idea is for a 12 team league, but could work in 1 team leagues. I would like to have an option for a championship bracket with the top 4 teams and 2-week matchups along with a consolation bracket with 1-week matchups for the remaining 8 teams. In a 12 team league, the playoffs would last 4 weeks. The top 4 seeds in the championship bracket play out as usual with the winners of the 1st matchups playing for a championship in the last 2 weeks. Make 7-team playoff standard with highest scoring team remaining option.
Please make the 7-team playoff a standard feature with the option to award the 7th seed to the highest scoring team remaining, rather than having it based on record. (This year the last place team had the 3rd highest score in league).

Commissioners can use their tools to edit the playoff matchups and seedings for the 1st week of the playoffs. This allows you to move teams in and out of the playoffs should you wish to use a different criterion for how teams get into the playoffs.

Option to stop guillotine team drops
Please provide a different playoff format option for guillotine leagues. I’ve manually ran a guillotine league in yahoo prior to this year, our playoffs are week 15/16/17. Teams no longer got dropped and the winner has the highest cumulative score. There is no option for guillotine beyond just weekly drops. The option to allow a 3 week playoff would be great. Thanks

Add eliminated from playoffs in standings
Just like you asterisk teams that have made the playoffs, it would be great if you could mark those that have been eliminated too.

Add Options for Guillotine Endgame (Playoffs)
Guillotine is a newer format but this will be my 3rd year being commish of this style. A popular way to end the long guillotine is to have a "Final Four" where instead of continuing to eliminate teams 1 at a time, once it reached 4 they will all keep their rosters to the end. They start with 0 points, and accumulate points weeks 15, 16, and 17. Total points winner is the champion.

Allow for more playoff games
In 6 team Playoff allow for 5th Place game in Championship Bracket and allow for 9th and 11th Place games in Consolation Brackets.
Hi Justin,
If you have a 6-team playoff, there will automatically be a 5th-place matchup. In a consolation bracket where you also have 6 teams, there will be 9th and 11th place matchups to determine who finishes in those positions.

I need last years round 1 and 2 playoff results
Denny Farris, league commissioner for league ID 28446, The League of Extraordinary D'Bags. I am wanting / needing access to last seasons round 1 and 2 playoff results. The 2024 standings listed on website are not indicative of how the playoff game results . please help me access the playoff results for last season 2024.

Punters and Points Playoffs
I run a league with total points as scoring type. I have seen that a handful of players dominate early and the rest of the league is irrelevant.
I would like to see an option for a playoffs system. Top 4 teams start again at week 15 with 0 points. Start scoring for weeks 15, 16, 17, 18. Highest points during playoffs wins the trophy.
I would also like to see Punter to be added as an eligible position.Hi Justin,

Make changes so that leagues can run all the way through the super bowl if they want.
We use CBS sports in our FF league because we can do all the way through the Super Bowl. Teams that make our playoffs are allowed to keep one player at each position and then we redraft from NFL teams that make the playoffs. We cannot do that in Yahoo because you do not support anything after week 18.

5-Team Playoffs option with 1st round bye for #1 seed
Really hope Yahoo allows 5-team playoffs with the #1 seed having a bye in the first week of the playoffs.

Praising the Wrong Teams!!!
I had 5 teams this season, 2- 1st's, 1- 5th, 1- 2nd, and 1- 3rd. Winning 4 out of 5 finale matchups. Not 1 recap praised the victor more than the loser. What is wrong with this??? 2 paragraphs about the losing team and 2 sentences about the winner! How about you start acknowledging the victors and their accomplishments and stop praising the runner ups for their shortcomings?! Just Sayin'!

"Lock Eliminated Teams" setting doesn't actually lock teams
Our league settings include "Lock Eliminated Teams - Yes", yet every year after the regular season, a team who has not made the playoffs is able to add Free Agents and drop players from their team. I triple check this setting every year, and every year it doesn't work. I have to manually go in and lock teams, usually after a league wide debacle over an eliminated team grabbing a player off the waiver wire.
Why doesn't this setting do what it says it will do? Please fix.

The lock eliminated teams setting will only lock teams eliminated from both the playoffs and consolation bracket, meaning managers who are in the consolation bracket can still add players. We suggest manually locking any teams eliminated from the playoffs using the steps you detailed. We will pass your feedback along to our team as well.
