Playoffs - Two week playoff matchups
This feature would allow commissioners to implement 2 week long playoff matchups for their league.

This shouldn't need any more feedback. Yahoo used to provide this option up until the 2010 Olympic season when they condensed the schedule so they removed the option from the default. However, they never brought it back, and after several attempts to get an explanation, I never received a proper response, just a 'we will consider new offerings etc etc.'. This should be brought back to give commissioners a choice - it's not a new offering.

This is exactly what I want. We recently added 2 new teams to our league (14 total) and I customized the regular season schedule to be reflective of the division format. Having gone through the trouble to figure out a fitting schedule I was very disappointed to discover that the top 8 teams make it, regardless of division (currently 5/3). As the commish I should have the option to customize the way in which playoffs are formatted as well.

Great idea. Baseball also requires a two-week finals option, however. Yahoo, just make the two-week finals option available, what are you waiting for? Your Week One matchup is over one week, but not the finals? No good. Yahoo is far too slow in reacting to this "feedback" section - why bother having the feedback section if it serves no purpose? This is a great idea, a must, get it done, Yahoo.
As for the end of season, I see no reason why Yahoo cannot allow commissioners to set the end of their season. The real life "resting" of players down the stretch (during fantasy playoffs) has become a real problem for the fantasy game, a well maintained fantasy team can have its entire season pulled out from underneath simply by the idiotic practice of "resting" millionairre athletes. Allow commissioners to set their end of season date. Again, Yahoo offers a solid product, but is far too slow in its evolution.

That is a good idea. Under the current setup I'll only join a league (in any sport) if the final is in the 2nd last week of the season, and not the final week for the reason you mentioned.

I think we should have the option to make all Playoff Rounds 2 Weeks !!!
Just to balance out the "unbalanced" NHL schedule that sometimes has Teams playing 4 times while only once the next week. Though the average # of Games rarely very's by more then 1 over a 2 week span.But the Championship Week Absolutely Has to be 2 weeks !!! Not only to make sure your League Champion is "the Best overall" (not just fluke out a good week) but to make sure their start players actually play ! as many NHL Playoff Teams who clinch their post season berth early rest their stars.

Agree 100%...I'd love to see it before season start but since they took so long to get around to fixing things I'll at least be satisfied with this change being implemented before seasons end so we can change it mid-season.

Lol Yahoo is a joke. Just because it's the Official place for Fantasy Hockey SURELY does not mean it's the best. They've definitely proven that.
