Like has been mentioned in here, allow player flagging in pre-draft. Create a pre-draft watchlist of sorts.

Instead of getting a promising goalie of the future (Blackwood) in my keeper league, I get defenseman Chychrun. Even if I needed defensemen (I don't), Chychrun wouldn't have been my 1st pick. I finished 3rd last year and I'm hoping to contend again this year, and your faulty auto-draft has screwed me for the 2nd year in a row. One of the other managers in my league has complained he had the same problem. Please figure this out! Thank you.

i agree 100%. It is the worst part of your pool. Seems like such an easy fix. To make a few changes, you have to do too much work currently. Please make this happen sooner than later.

Absolutely agree! Pre ranking list should be populated from the player list in a keeper pool, which then eliminates the keepers! Why can Yahoo not get this?!?!

Why can Yahoo not remove keepers from the player pool when we are doing our pre ranking? That's a lot of players we are ranking for no reason at all.
And give us a field where we can type in a name instead of making us search through hundreds of names of players. Heaven forbid if we want to pick up a player who is ranked 850th and has a last name that starts with 'Z'. It's going to take you five minutes to find him.

Fix Pre-Rank! Your pre-rank before draft doesn't follow your own pre-ranking scale under players tab! John Gibson is ranked #2 and #95!

AGREE..... your rankings have some regular NHLers and high end rookies in the 1000!!! I dont understand why you have some no names before them who will probably NEVER make the NHL.
Who the **** does these rankings anyway?

Agree. Ever since you made the changes to the pre-draft rankings section, you've made it more time consuming and inflexible, having to click 'load more players' each time. I'm guessing that it wasn't tested much with actual managers, otherwise this would've been the first suggestion. Common sense please!

Could Yahoo please add a box where we could just type in a players name to add him to our rankings list instead of searching for the players by name and position and constantly loading more players names. When you are looking for prospects or players in a very deep pool, this becomes quite time consuming. We can do this during the season when searching for players and the commish can do this when submitting the keepers and we can do it during a draft. So why can't we have a search box for players names when we edit our pre draft rankings?

I agree. For Football, Hockey, Baseball, (who cares about the NBA), this is needed. The pre-draft app sucks bad. I would just prefer a box or radio button next to their names that I can click without having to drag over or move players in groups of just 25 at a time. Also, I might want to have my own list for the top 100 in the draft but willing to use Y! for the rest. I still have to go add the rest 25 players at time when a simple button that says "Use Yahoo ranking for the rest" would suffice.
Basically, guys (and gals), look at the pre-draft ranking tool. It's VERY laborious and it's not hard to see that there are a number of ways to improve usability of this otherwise, forgotten or often overlooked feature.

Editing Pre-Draft Rankings
Ideally, it would be great if we could import "my watch list" directly into the pre-draft rankings.
At a minimum, please bring back the search feature within the pre-draft rankings. The rank in the draft rankings is different than both the pre-season ranking and the rank in the player list. Makes it very hard to find that rookie you want to draft.

Additionally this would really shine when importing custom pre-draft rankings to multiple leagues because you wouldnt have to set high ranked players who are keepers to "do not draft" in order to filter through them.

So frustrating having to sort through 60+ names at the top of the list in Pre-Draft Rankings because they are Keepers in my league. Would be nice if there was an option to hide or remove these protected keepers from the default list before editing my rankings.

Yes, currently the pre-draft rankings page is as primitive as the first <html> page that I created in my high school back in 1998 was, a couple of bare-bones dropdowns and scroll lists. Time to introduce some proper data management UI widgets that most professional sites utilize, such as 'list x players per page' (instead of the silly 'load more'), text based filters (name, team, etc), multi-select capability / 'select all' checkbox for utilizing after some filters have been applied, just to name a few...

If I'm organizing my pre-draft rankings I typically want to do a few things - a) move all players in their current Yahoo ranking order to my customized list - so I can then start shuffling them around, etc - currently there doesn't seem to be a way to do this, instead I have to click on 'move a player' button repeatedly a few hundred times... b) move to 'Do not draft' list anyone who is injured long term - or someone who I consider to be a bust / likely to have a bad season / injury liability etc (to do this I need the ability to find someone by surname - this ability is currently lacking, essentially I need to sort players alphabetically by their first names and then scroll down page after page). c) move to 'Do not draft' list most of the players from teams that I think are going to have horrible +/- (currently, there is no way to say 'show me all players from Toronto Maple Leafs' - again, I'm forced to scroll through all the players essentially)

I just tried to do it using Internet Explorer, and again, nothing works to change my pre-draft rankings for Fantasy Hockey. Do us all a favor and scrap the entire pre-draft rankings feature if you can't or won't find a way for your customers to be able to set their own rankings.

I can't set my pre-draft rankings currently on Google Chrome. it wont' allow me to click the arrows to move a player over to right to set the pre-draft rankings of my choice, nor to remove a player from my drafting queue.
