Rosters - Position eligibility requests 2025-26

Position eligibility requests for the 2025-26 season.

We will continue evaluating players for new positions going forward and make updates where appropriate.

As of 10/4/23, we added the option for Commissioners to award position eligibility to players who haven't earned it by Yahoo Fantasy's standards yet. Keep in mind, this tool will only allow commissioners to add positions, not edit or remove them, and you won't be able to assign Forwards or Defensemen with Goalie eligibility and vice versa.     Erik Haula is playing mostly center. Should be eligble for both LW & C.

    Yahoo Fantasy Baseball has a position eligibility count down. This should be possible for hockey as well. How? Each game starts by showing the starting lineup on TV. They show the lines for both teams when the game starts. Use that. Each game the player starts at the position counts as 1. Better yet, Yahoo already tracks the current position of players and shows that to us in the depth chart on player list (research stat). Where is that data coming from? Use that! When the player gets to 5 games started at a position then add that position to the player's eligibility.
    Please copy the position eligibility count down page from fantasy baseball so we don't need to request from anybody to change position eligibility.

    Philipp Kurashev - C should have RW eligibility.

    Tyler Toffoli has started every game this season on New Jersey’s Left Wing. Can you please add LW eligibility for Toffoli. Thank you.

    where did this Commissioner option disappear to for hockey?
    Can you make the following changes as per cap friendly?
    Jamie Benn C/LW
    Dylan Cozens C/RW
    Adrian Kempe RW/LW

    Hagel is now also playing RW on Tampas second line. Zegras plays LW whenever Leo Carlsson is in the lineup and will play LW going forward as Leo plays more games and Toffoli is also playing LW in jersey at even strength.

    Tyler Toffoli (NJ) should be LW, RW. He's been playing LW all season but is only RW. Thank you!
