My Weather content doesn't work
I would like it to work. I have tried removing the content and adding it back without success. I am using Edge for my Browser

Any update/progress on fixing the Weather module??? It doesn't seem to be any better. Would really like to see it working. What about just putting it back to what it used to be???

Maybe we should all just pack up and move to Sunnyvale California and become liberals. That would solve all of Yahoo's problems.

I would really appreciate it if you can get the weather App fixed. I cant change, add or save ANY of the places I want or need to. I have family all over the US and I keep track of the weather in their area. Since I cant do anything with the weather app once again, none of what I used to do can be done now. I see that this thread is dated back to Nov of 2020. It is now Late January 2021. How long does it take? It seemed fine before, cant you just reset it all to back when the app worked well? Anything would be a help. Well anything that would fix the problems. All my preferences change every time I leave my home page and come back to it. So, the App still has a problem. It has NOT been fixed............

When I use the Weather app and it uses my location, I can end up in Sunnyvale CA, or one of about 5 local cities/towns within a 30-40 mile radius. I would like an option other than using the 'my location' choice where I specify my own local Zip code to report my weather. You can still use your 'my location', but have another option where I SPECIFY MY LOCATION by Zip code.

The weather content worked well for a few days but now, not so much! I have 4 places listed and the names are there but not the weather. If I click on a city name nothing happens.

Broken again and again and again. Someone needs to be replaced for incompetency.

It is just not working right. First of all it always reverts back to Sunnyvale CA I want Buckeye AZ. Now for some strange reason I have both Tampa Fl and two Buckeye AZ weather on my home page. Why can't it stay right with just my location as Buckeye, Tampa FL. and Detroit MI.???

Additional issues:
Why does the weather default to Sunnyvale, CA...??? It should be using my current location and my selected cities.
Why is the weather always displayed in detailed form...??? It used to show one-liners with the city name and the temperature. Now it is always in detailed form for each city. Please fix and test it, so it displays as desired, either with minimal information or with details, depending on what is selected.
I have noticed that it now has the same problems whether it is the mobile version or the desktop version. Needs to be fixed and tested for all uses.

This module is unnecessarily complicated to add and remove. Yahoo keep changing its function and look at random...often times, they don't work....Its like they don't do UAT and developed by amateur web developers.
As of a recent change the past week,
- Adding used to be to perform a "Change location" and it would save automatically. Now it doesn't do anything. Even the STAR checking doesn't do anything.
- Removing used to involve just unchecking the STAR from any existing location detail page. That is inoperable now. After playing with various ways, I found out how to add/remove easily.
This ONLY works on the default current location. The STAR DOES NOT WORK!
- In the upper right, click the LocationPin icon ("View your location")
- On the popup page, if you enter the new location here, it will ADD to the homepage module.
- To remove, go to this same popup page, and you will see your past additions with a (-) next to it. Click it to remove the location.
- Refresh the page and you will see it gone. -

It has become incredibly complicated to edit you locations - you are taken into some "settings abyss". It used to be very straightforward. I can't undo "current location" which is wrong. I am seriously considering changing my home page. It seems changes are being done for Change's sake - ALWAYS a bad strategy!

I am very sick of constantly of seeing Sunnyvale weather instead of my city. Only my city is in my profile.

Please, please, please fix the Yahoo weather app on MyYahoo page! It continues to give me weather for a town more than 100 miles south. My zip code is 46013, and I've had to add a second weather report to get my local weather. Having the dual weather reports consumes space I would prefer to use for other purposes. Thank you!

I have been in this area for over 60 days. I put that area in as my default location, click out of my front page and I am back in Sunnyvale, Calif., or Marion, Fl. (no such city, just a county). I have never been to Calif. Please fix this. I'm looking at weather that is 3000 miles away.

Sunnyvale, CA must be the largest city in the world if it is the hometown of everybody signed-in to Yahoo. If you want your local weather sign-out from Yahoo but forget your customized screen features.

Regarding the mobile version for cellphones, etc. Using Chrome for browser.
Please fix this ASAP, it's been broken for quite a while now. The temperatures disappear frequently. Results are erratic. Most of the time, the weather is displayed in expanded detail form and not the one-liners with the city and temp. When compressed, it immediately goes back to detailed view when the app is refreshed. It should stay as compressed unless specifically expanded.
Please fully test it and make it work correctly!

You supposedly "fixed" the weather page and I actually DID see my chosen city show up. It's hard to believe that less than 1/2 of 1 percent of people could give a s**t about the weather in Sunnyvale, CA. So WHY does it keep showing up as my home town? Please make the weather page right and quit trying to "fix" things until you figure out "how".

When I change the displayed city either by asking to detect or I manually enter, the display does not change. It shows a city 50 miles away or sometimes Sunnyvale ??

Learn what "detect my location" means -.according to you
I've lived in Sunnyvale California for 3 years...And I've moved twice and you still ***** it up...I can't wrap my head around the fact that Yahoo is completely clueless regarding location settings..For years this has been going on..read the feedback - seriously! Now I've just accepted the incompetence, I just want to know why Yahoo can't seem to figure it out.. -
