Fix displaying of TYPE on Monthly Calendar to again display the COLOR / other symbol (like doctor)
The current calendar allows TYPE to be specified in calendar event as in older versions. But, if I select it now the associated ICON or COLOR selected for type no longer displays in Monthly Calendar. It does on LISTS. Can this be fixed?

A request to return to the older Yahoo Calendar
Greetings. I am contacting this forum to express my dissatisfaction with the new Yahoo Calendar format. As a paying MAIL+ customer, I would prefer a return to the old format, which was much more visually friendly. Can you assist me with this?

Yahoo Calendar display needs to fixed
You have recently changed the monthly calendar display to remove the flags from the events. This was a good feature to have in place to denote if a payment was due on this event or if it had been made already. With more than 30 events per month, I now have to click on each one to see the flag and this is tedious and time consuming. I have already been late on one payment because I missed the red flag I was used to seeing on the display. Please return the status flags to the montly display screen.

New Calendar Format
The new calendar format (FEB 2026) has lost the ability to see Event/Appointment "flags". I always use the flags such as Red (important), Green, Yellow, Vacation, Work, etc. to quickly see specific events' purposes. Now, as of this week, those flags do not show on the user view in Calendar. Everything looks the same which defeats the purpose of the flags. Can you please revert back to the previoous version. If not, I will need to use Gmail or another calendar option.

Please create an option to revert to the old format for the Yahoo Calendar
The format of my Yahoo calendar was recently changed arbitrarily on my MacBook Air and it is useless. I would like to return to the old format, but the Help Desk told me that is not possible. Please activate an option to go back to the old format of the Yahoo Calendar. I usually choose the "Month" layout. Curiously, the old, familiar and much friendlier and helfpul format is still in use on my Windows Desktop. Why can't I also have it on my MacBook?

Calendar Issue
Please go back to the old calendar where 2 hour appointments would be highlighted. The little dots are challenging to older eyes.
Also, when I click on a day on the calendar, it should be automatically populated as the start date. Currently, if I click on a specific day, some other odd day may automatically be filled in. This should not happen.

Calendar - events cut down to a few characters not making any sense
The issue is not only related to printing but also viewing of the calendar on my laptop. All that you see is a limited one line of the event. The calendar when accessed via my phone looks fine. Hope this can be corrected please. I can not tell what is what looking at the calendar as it is now

Please provide an option to go back to the classic view in calendar
I want my calendar changed back to the classic view - I hate the new updated view it's terrible. I hate how the events are shown and the colors no longer fill the event - there is a dot or an outline which is totally impossible to tell which color is which with both these options. HATE IT

Jan 2026 update to Calendars - Please REMOVE the changes!!!
Changes to my calendar display on my desktop were just loaded. They are awful!! I cannot see all the daily tasks in the Month view. I use this calendar every day to organize current and upcoming tasks. PLEASE REMOVE THE LATEST CHANGES.

2024 - 2026 calendar changes make using it more difficult
The calendar format changed (with the new email?) and the new colors for the calendars are too intense. Notes on my calendar do not stand out as much and some can be difficult to read. Furthermore, there is less information visible on a calendar post so it takes more time to review the notes. The new format for the calendar is more difficult to use and I wish the older version of my email calendar could still be used.

PLEASE. allow in calendar settings a way to set the default, opening view to the user's choice of Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Yearly view.

Allow default opening setting in calendar
Allow a setting to have a choice on the view in which the calendar opens, The weekly default view is useless to me. I want it to default to opening with the month view. This is really annoying and seems like it should be a basic option to have.

12/25 Calendar reformat is a failure! GO BACK!
What happened to yahoo calendar? Dec.15,2025 my yahoo calendar changed format to a completely unrecognizable version of itself. It is essentially useless, let alone hideous. The new event window is one inch tall, and practically unusable. You can't scroll within a window that small. I've lost all my color coding of different calendars, and there is no visual difference between events marked as free or tentative. I have used yahoo calendar daily for over 30 years. This is a tragedy! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PUT IT BACK! It is not functional this way!

Yahoo please put the calendar bac the way it was. If its not broken do not fix it.
I don't know what happen but when I click calendar I have to click MONTH each time then I add a event & now it has other stuff comes up & I can't get to it its like having 5 other steps ITS AWFUL. Could you pleas put it back to the way it was. It's bad enough I'm old & have bad eye site & bed ridden no this. thank you

Month view in calendar
Why after defaulting to month view in calendar for decades are you insisting on week view? Where can I change this? It is so annoying. I now always have to change to month view manually. The day strips are too long and can't be seen. Please change this or give me the option to set default to month!!!!!!!

Yahoo calendar
I'm using the old yahoo email and when i get into my calendar and create a new entry it doesn't show the type when i choose color. I've had case number 29498419 open for weeks now
