Dear Yahoo Fantasy Team,

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the removal of player photos from the Team tab in the Yahoo Fantasy mobile app, specifically for NBA nine-category leagues.

When I open the Team tab to view my roster, I no longer see the players’ faces. Instead, each player’s name appears beside an empty oval placeholder. This makes the roster look unfinished, repetitive, and significantly less visually appealing than the previous design.

Player photos add personality to a fantasy team and make players easier to recognize while scrolling through a roster. Seeing the faces of the players I drafted is part of the enjoyment of managing my team. Replacing those photos with empty ovals removes that connection and makes the experience feel like browsing a plain list of names.

The reported decision to retain player photos in points leagues while removing them from category leagues is also frustrating. The scoring format should not determine whether users receive a complete and visually engaging roster interface.

There are also community reports that some Yahoo Fantasy Plus subscribers still see player photos in category leagues. Please clarify whether this is accurate. If so, I strongly object to restricting a previously standard visual feature to paying subscribers.

Please restore player photos in the mobile app’s Team tab across all league formats for all users. If the intention is to offer a more compact layout, a setting that lets users show or hide photos would be a better solution.

I would appreciate an explanation for this change and confirmation of whether restoring player photos is planned. Please consider this feedback when reviewing the mobile app’s design.
