Position eligibility of rookie Brewers SP Misiorowski
Re: yahoo fantasy baseball league. Who at Yahoo sports decides position eligibility of a player first brought up to the mlb club? Specifically, Jacob Misiorowski is listed as a RP, not a SP. hence, I can’t move him from my bench into my starting rotation until he has 2 more (3 total) starts. When was he a RP? He has been a SP in the minors until his recent call up to the Brewers. He started his only appearance last week. At worst he should be listed as P/SP, not RP. Please fix this obvious error before rosters lock @ game time of the first mlb game tonight

Hi Chris,
Players changing positions can affect how you manage your team. Their positions are determined based on info from the MLB roster and past performance. Once the player has gained eligibility, they won't lose it even if they don't make additional appearances in the season.
Determine position eligibility
The number of games a player completes determines position eligibility.
- Position eligibility – 5 starts or 10 total appearances in a position.
- Pitcher eligibility – 3 starts to be a starter, or 5 relief appearances to qualify as a reliever.
Use the position eligibility countdown
The number under each position shows how many games remain until the player is eligible for that position. If an "E" appears in the column, they're already eligible to play.
- Under the "Players" tab, click Position Eligibility.
- Type the player's name into the available field.
- Click Search.
