bulk delete
Let's say you forget to select an email and you press delete button. Yahoo email server actually assumes that means I want to delete all 3000+ emails sitting in my email from beginning of time. Guys this is a dumb idea. No one wants to delete everything just because they forgot to select an item. Thankfully there is prompt but if you are distracted, you don't read what the prompt is saying and you press yes (because you think you are deleting the email that you intended to delete but forgot to select), poof! All your emails are gone.

bug with icons moving
When clicking on the "delete" icon at the top of the email list, the position of that icon (the row of them) shifts left and right. Appears to be centered, but different width things are placed along the right side of the screen, which changes the width, which moves the icons. This is a bug. User should be able to repeatedly click the mouse button to delete several emails in a row without having to chase the button.

Putting some new messages into inbox and some into "All Mail" SUCKS!!! It's horrible. You've ruined a good experience.
Being able to make different folders is great. But having YOU decide which folders new messages go to is IDIOTIC!!! Yahoo Mail was simple and convenient. NOW, you are diverting some new messages into All Mail, and some new messages into Inbox. That's MORONIC!!! All new messages should go into Inbox. Then LET US DECIDE where to put them. How can I get it back the way it was?????

Contacts are screwed up
1 - I added a new contact and now when I search the name, it says no matching contacts found. And yes it's there.
2 - I've tried to delete a contact multiple times and it won't delete.
3 - I have contacts set to come up by first name. Apparently Yahoo doesn't know what the alphabet is because they're not coming up in alphabetical order. They come up under the correct heading, i.e. A, B, C etc. - but are all out of order under that heading.

New catagory bar is a problem
The new bar with "Priority, updates, offers, social, newsletters, all" needs to default to "All". I have to select "All" repeatedly.

Can't connect to yahoo mail with Mail app on MacOS
I deleted my old Frontier info and added the new Yahoo info into the system settings/internet accounts. Mail keeps returning there is a problem with the mail server or network.

How many times to I have to deny the global privacy setting. I have already selected the settings I want, yet every-time I open the homepage I have to select allow or deny. make it stop.

search emails alphabetically
Why can't I search alphabetically my emails? that way I can scroll and read emails only by Home depot, or amazon, etc....or delete all emails by that sender.
AT@T lets you do that, its so convenient to delete unnecessary emails all at once.125th ranked -
Advanced searches for phrases
It used to be possible to do an advanced search for phrases by putting quotes (inverted commas in British English) around the phrase. Now it searches for each individual word in that quoted phrase separately, making the search results useless. This applies to both paid an free accounts. Please restore this functionality so I can actually find things I'm looking for.

It would be helpful if I could select all mail from a sender and hit delete, but any starred ones would not delete.
It would be helpful if I could select all mail from a sender and hit delete, but any starred ones would not delete. So that all mail from Staples ( example )would be deleted, except for my receipts or orders that I starred as they came in. That would save Yahoo space as well.

Be able to close the SETTINGS field in mail
I have over 18" of screen space for Yahoo mail the first 2 sections of yahoo mail screen are the same a column for compose, inbox and other folders. Then the regular wide column that contains the day, sender, email title and first line. There used to be a small settings area that would open when you needed it. Now it is on all the time giving me the large circle with an image or letter for the owner followed by information about the sender and do I want to add or update that sender. It is a waste of…
