How can we improve New Mail?

Phishing

I just got a Phishing Scam email from purporting to be from Apple....and it was not, then I find this cannot be reported any more. There is a giant difference between SPAM and Phishing, we want the function back as I am sure it would make Yahoos job easier. Also our online safety.

    You should be able to mark mail as a "phishing scam". Currently you can't do this.
    I am also getting an enormous amount of spam e-mail. Over 100 e-mails a day. Please can something be done about this.

    I get them from Apple and now Amazon. Why can't we report phishing?

    Agree! we used to be able to report Phishing. Yahoo disabled this feature. What a shame! Phishing is a lot more dangerous than mere spam.

    Seriously, can't believe that the Phishing button is gone. And this is why Yahoo loses customers to competitors

    The old layout had a Report A Phishing Scam option under Spam. The new layout only has a Spam button. Bring back the classifications of spam.

    Not an idea, just include the Spam drop down option box like in the older version. It comes in handy and makes it easier to report phishing scams and other options.

    "Report Phishing" appears to be missing in new interface. Seems like an idiotic thing to remove as phishing is only becoming more prevalent with each year that passes.

    Block the phashing email such as your account is going to expire or your account is going to need reset. Obviously those are the one trying to stealing password, not from yahoo email

    SPAM The previous version had some attempt to manage SPAM. Where it fell short I was able to identify the SPAM and in a restricted way identify phishing. The new version is WORSE.
    If the software is not enabled (which it should be smarter about) identifying SPAM and effectively blocking its source and especially the same with PHISHING is critical. I have been with YAHOO for 20 years! I am now going to GMAIL. The initiatives by YAHOO are just poor even compared to the old version and too late. I have no choice except to transfer my friends who have used my email address for 20 years to my new GMAIL address.

    To report spam is fine, however, there is not choice to report phishing scams.

    The worst of it are pishing emails pretending to be 'from Yahoo' - it staggers me that Yahoo can't figure out a way to filter them out!

    Report as Phishing option removed from choices, as if yahoo ever did anything abous Phishing anyway!!!

    Yahoo you need to bring back the Phishing attempt option under <more options> in the Spam Folder. I'd also like to see a spoof reporting option.

    Come on Yahoo... Where's the unread message counter in the SPAM folder? You Need to get that black out theme up, it's important for your customers who work midnight shift to have a theme with minimal blue in it. Black and gray, or black and red work well, or better yet, let us tweak our own settings (we USED to be able to do that...)
