Please be sure you click on the settings wheel in Mail, not in Help. We have found that some users are trying to make the change to switchback to classic Mail in help.yahoo.com rather than in Mail.yahoo.com. You will not find the option to switchback in Help. You will find it in Mail.

    This new version SUCKS!!! Slows everything down and probably has features we never use!!!

    The Setting Icon at the top-right corner does not show the option to switch back to the old email format. Awful.

    my CONTACTS which seem to be in my contacts folder, do not pop up for adding to emails when I go thru the Alphabet....WHY NOT..????..AND....why do I have contact in there that I don't even know????They are connected to people who SEND me emails....but I don't want them in my contact box.! H E L P!

    Your instructions are not working and i am not able to use Yahoo.It is becoming more of a problem.Get me back to the old one.

    I don't have the choice to "switch back to the old email format" when I do the settings icon. WTH??

    I no longer have the ability to send attachments. What's up with this new format? I can no longer change fonts or sizes,
    What's so great about this New Yahoo?

    I want my BASIC BACK!!! All other formats are to time consuming to navigate.

    Going back to old mail setting is just another corporate "Baffle them with Bull $hit" model. "Let's see just how many people will fall for it" said the puppet master.

    CANNOT CHANGE / ADD NEW PASSWORD. account KEY SENDS TEXT BUT NOWHERE CAN CHANGE IT. AFTER TWO HOURS OF GOING IN CIRCLES OF PROMPTS AND CHANGING PASSWORD IS IMPOSSIBLE!

    I hate the new version of Yahoo email. Also, as has been noted by others, the process recommended to return to classic email does not work. Thinking seriously about closing acct

    The instructions given to return to classic email is bogus, WHY? My system has nothing as described in the instruction page, clicking on tool gear does not have anything to allow me to change back to classic email.
