I don't mind ads, but videos playing in my trash bin, or spam folder are completely out of line. Then constantly annoying me with that smug emoji looking in the corner doesn't make me want to whitelist you...if anything it makes me less inclined because he looks annoyed with me exercising my freedom to avoid intrusive ads.
By the way, having the adblocker on doesn't prevent functionality, so stop trying to scare people into paying $3.50 per month.
Lastly, if you haven't noticed, there are many other free options. The more you annoy the users, the higher chance they will migrate to another free service. If they want a paid service, both Google an Microsoft offer affordable plans under $10/mo which include more benefits.

Get out of my way and let me get my email in peace. I don't want or need Yahoo to ask me anything, ever. No, I don't want to review my information. No, you can't have my phone number. No, I'm not whitelisting anything. Buzz off. I don't need any extra steps in my daily tasks.

You can start by getting out of my hair every time with the feedback box and then giving back the options classic yahoo mail used to have!

I clicked on update your Yahoo Mail and was offered something called "Whitelist" with no explanation as to what it's purpose is.

This is really starting to become annoying. Especially if you add on the change in terms of service where Yahoo informs you they're going to go through your emails and do whatever the **** they like with the info they find there. This is why I transferred everything except junk mail from their service.

I understand that you have to make money, but this is ridiculous! There are other email services that don't do this so I'm going to have to give up this account. I know Yahoo doesn't care one bit.

Dear Yahoo,
Thx for your ATTENTION to STOP it
"Ad blockers insert code into your inbox to block ads, which can negatively impact email performance and break functionality (such as accidentally hiding messages). We recommend whitelisting Yahoo Mail to avoid facing these issues. Doing this will also unblock ads on Yahoo Mail."
if we do not have the right to block ads, what is the purpose of this option.
if Yahoo wants to charge us for using free email service, tell it clearly and openly so we can decide. -

Please stop this Pop-up notification, this is annoying, you gave us all a FREE account in order to allow us to set up profiles online. Now, you constantly harassing everyone with an account for a monthly charge that is completely annoying. You are a Billion Dollar Business entity, many of us are small businesses attempting to get Start-Up and this is completely unfair, greedy and annoying harassment. Secure our data by hiring proven IT Software/Network Engineers with a proven track record of designing leading edge secure systems. Please stop this pop-up harassment. It impedes progress for us smaller businesses trying to achieve a successful business model.

Yahoo's request to be whitelisted is a * STUPID * INSULT *. The * MAIN * reason I installed Adblock was to block YAHOO'S INTRUSIVE, DISTRACTING, IRRELEVANT advertising! If you want to be whitelisted, COMPLY with Adblock's REASONABLE advertising policy. It's there on their website, it's not hostile to reasonable advertising on commercial websites, and 75% of Adblock users have already agreed to accept some degree of advertising on the pages they use.
I WON'T whitelist Yahoo - now or ever. But YOU can comply with Adblock's advertising policy - and whitelist yourselves.
Get with the flow Yahoo... before more of us flow off to other, more user-friendly, more user-respecting service providers.
