commentedDespite changing my password several times...my account appears to be security compromised and continuing to send spam to all contacts I have ever sent or recieved an email to.
How can this be reolved, as it is causing frustration to all involved?

commentedI woke this morning to someone trying to use my account. I hit 'no' automatically, then realized that if someone's using my account it most likely means they have stolen my laptop. Doesn't look like I can do much about it because you guys just have help articles everywhere I've looked instead of an actual way to contact you. I may have a pretty big problem if it's stolen and really need some tech support from a person beyond logon problems.

commentedHi there, my account was hacked 3 days ago from a person named Houssem from Algeria. Luckily though, I was able to get it back with the help from Yahoo amazing customer support. I am scared that the intruder may find a way to hack my account again, so I would like to suggest blocking the Intruder's IP address from getting into my account ever again.

commentedI have multi email accts . Sadly only once is good enough to prevent hackers from accessing contact list and spamming every friend on the list. Yahoo has had this isssu going back to some years after they went global and today , or actually yesterday I received an email from my Yahoo account that I have stopped using to msg many friends. Now how did I learn about that message? On my secondary addy I received a url spam from unknown sender and noticed everyone tied to that Yahoo acct was included in that message and included a very dear friend who had passed away 7 years ago. Yes, for some reason I still had that addy listed in my Yahoo contact.
In Yahoo contact I also have my secondary email Addy listed and that secondary email address was use to send url spam to me.I know Yahoo is doing all it can to prevent spammers from spamming us but you have to do what you can to keep track of this yourself. I suggest as I have done years ago to add one email acct addy to your Yahoo contact as a way to track when spammer get access to Yahoo acct and mass message your contact list. I'm on the verge if considering cancelling Yahoo acct for good. Too many people times when illegal access is detected I have to sign in and for 8 hours change, rechange passwords, wipe history, caches then change again and repeat this process. I'm not doing it anymore. I have multi addy and out of them only one is the best at spam detecting. Not only do I don't receive spam emails also the contact book is protected.

commentedI was told by a friend that they got an email from me with an invoice. I did not send. Not only did it use my email address and his but even referenced his nickname which is in my contacts. I changed my password today but letting you know there’s a security breach. Thanks.
