My desktop yahoo email does not sync with yahoo server i.e, IMAP settings are not working. But IMAP settings are working on yahoo app on android phone.

It is impossible to use Yahoo mail with the Windows 11 Mail app. When it was setup, it would show HTML code for the incoming emails. I remove Yahoo mail and now I can't add it back. I get prompted with a screen that shows my email address then clicking on next opens a white box where the password should go. I have even tried to add it using the advanced setup in Windows mail. I've reviewed every option at Yahoo and can't find any method to resolve this.
As an alternative I tried using Yahoo for Android subsystem(?) and that doesn't work either. It doesn't refresh and you have very little control.
What's even more frustrating is that there is no support unless you want to pay! Guess I'm done with Yahoo. If anyone knows how to export your Yahoo emails so you can import them into another email client, please let me know. -

Your outlook connectivity is very subpar. Sometimes it works, sometimes it quits. I sometimes have to contact your paid support team and shell out 80 bucks to get it to work on my notebook. I should not have to go to those lengths to have to do that. I know there are several factors. However you should make it as easy as it connects to my Android to connect to my notebook. I have tried all of the contortions possible. I have 2FA disconnected. I have synchronized my passwords. And have tried all ports and settings possible and I still can not get Outlook to connect to Yahoo mail, and i have the latest Office 2021 Pro Plus on my notebook with Windows 2011 Enterprise.

Suddenly after using Yahoo IMAP access for years with Thunderbird last week I got following error - Non-overridable TLS error occurred. Handshake error or probably the TLS version or certificate used by server imap.mail.yahoo.com is incompatible."
Is there any problem with mail server certificate?

It's important enough, that I am telling you about it. But, it's not important enough and not worth the headaches to go thru long drawn out processes just to interface my yahoo e-mail with Outlook. You decide. Feel free to send me an e-mail that gives me a "DIRECT" phone number into a live human if you want to know more.

Make it easier to interface with Outlook. I just set up my G-Mail account in MS Outlook. It was very easy!! Keep that in mind.

I am trying to set up a yahoo email connection on the windows 10 system I reloaded. I keep getting cannot connect to server. I have set up outlook and gmail but yahoo will not work.

Yahoo Mail does not sync with Microsoft Windows 10/11 Mail Application.
Emails do not download at all no matter what settings I try.

Yahoo mail does not receive mail from Outlook.com or Hotmail.com addresses.
Works fine with GMail and Yahoo addresses. Please fix this. This is unnaceptable.

Integration with Outlook doe not work consistently. I have to reset my password every few days through the setup account process which is unsustainable. Please fix this issue! It has been a known issue for awhile.

After seeing numerous posts on this, your clearly not listening.. So I'll say it again. Stop F'ing with Thunderbird logins. Its vastly superiors to your own email client of which we all trust about as far as we can throw it. Any time you let the lawyers or marketing people run it company it ruins it!

Mail for Win 10 (and 11) doesn't work anymore with Yahoo addresses. Can't sync anything. Why does it have to be so bad? This is why many people are dropping Yahoo and just keep Google mail accounts now.

I am unable to generate an app password (it worked fine earlier this year) - is there something wrong? I'd like to use outlook on my mac for this but outlook won't use my imap password and says to generate an app password. The page that I get redirected to gives instructions that simply don't work.
