My desktop yahoo email does not sync with yahoo server i.e, IMAP settings are not working. But IMAP settings are working on yahoo app on android phone.

I am unable to generate an app password (it worked fine earlier this year) - is there something wrong? I'd like to use outlook on my mac for this but outlook won't use my imap password and says to generate an app password. The page that I get redirected to gives instructions that simply don't work.

For the past couple of months I have been having repeated problems with the Yahoo Android app. When the app is having trouble connecting to the server it is shunting mails to the Outbox but it is failing to automatically send the mails once it reconnects. There is no warning at all about the problem save an easily missed icon. This is very dangerous, of course, as important mails can be missed.

Tired of my mail apps constantly telling me my yahoo accounts are out of date so I have to generate a password, then a month later - same thing again. Just moved everything to gmail.

I want my OUTLOOK ACCOUNT BACK, I'm a DISABLE VETERAN that doesn't deserve being treated like this. I'm not afraid to stand up for myself, ask my brother. Told him that he got the first swing and then I got to have FUN. SOMEONE would be going to the Hospital for a long stay and that would not be ME.

Outlook account BLOCKED, I AM CONSIDERING TO GO TO TWITTER AND TELL EVERYONE HOW I follow your instructions nd you blocked me for no reason. You don't believe me then ask WELLS FARGO they assisted my brother in BANK AND ESTATE FRAUD. I posted it on TWITTER AND POSTED THAT WELLS FARGO OWED ME, $400,000.00.

Very hard to find how to allow for less secure aps. I finally gave up altogether and used my gmail account to send a QB report. Be more clear and less assumptive with directions and tell people where icons are and show what they look like. Lazy *** yahoo!

My email program uses POP mail. In the last year or so every time I try to download from Yahoo Mail it starts to download every single email in the history. It used to only download new mail. It appears that Yahoo no longer recognizes and flags that POP mail has been downloaded. This makes Yahoo mail unusable.
And of course, there is no one to ask why.

I have to delete the same emails from my desktop email that I had removed earlier. Isn't there away to sync the two so I don't have to delete the emails twice?

My desktop client suddenly stopped connecting to POP3 and downloading my Inbox. It still connects to SMTP and sends email, it just won't download it so I can archive it locally.
I went through all the Help pages and tried every troubleshooting tip...nothing worked. So I sent an email to customer service hoping they'd be able to tell me something I might be missing. Their answer? "Try the stuff on the Help pages."
It's like they didn't even read my request where I specifically said that I'd tried everything on the Yahoo Mail help pages. -

My Yahoo was hacked on my iPhone and it keeps deleting all of my emails!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I changed the password on my computer and if worked okay again so I updated the password on my iPhone and it started deleting all my messages on my computer! Please help me! I am elderly and at risk for this stupid coronavirus. I cannot handle this too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ***

Old Yahoo had settings for the durration of time that a email would sit on a server after it was polled from a MS Outlook client. Message are being duplicated and it is not known if the commands from outlook to delete the mail after read or delivered. Where is the program flow chart to see what happens when Outlook 2010 has received the email from polling the server. The indicator on the yahoo inbox email is not getting set to say it has already delivered the message to Outlook.
