No webscape, no storage capacity, no shortcut keys, no speed of mails as in gmail.
nothing available for free as in gmail. that is why yahoo mail may be coloruful to look but themes, stationary, background photos from flickr, no ms-office like hotmail. etc, are not available. That is why yahoo is a failure and not competitive.
