Why can't I have my accounts open on separate tabs?

I have two yahoo accounts, but when I try to open the second one on a different tab (I'm using Chrome), it changes both tabs to the same account. That's pretty much useless. There should be no reason I can't have both accounts open at the same time - they're completely different logins etc.
