Encrypted emails. PC World says using httpS sends it with SSL encryption.
I don't see anywhere that your site explains how our emails are protected by encryption. PC World had an article that explains that using httpS means your emails are sent via encryption. But there's no statement I can find on Yahoo about encryption either when sending and receiving or when it's stored or archived.
I would think people would like to know how to encrypt their emails or to know that they are automatically encrypted. There is the notion that all emails can be read by snoopers when they transfer from server to server as they are sent. A lot of email from attorneys contain statements not to send anything confidential via email that you don't want others to gain access to on unencrypted networks. Please inform Yahoo emailers where they stand as to safety to email. It can be scary to think others with computer hacking skills can read their emails. And if that is true, besides explaining how they do it and why we should guard what we send (in the interest of national security of the individual and the US business production they may put in jeopardy), please show us a way we can do encrypt and secure our emails, if not with Yahoo tools, then via 3rd party tools.
I for one think that would facilitate MORE use of Yahoo email if small and large businesses thought it was encrypted.
Please let me know,
Thanks,
