android app not syncing deleted emails

My Yahoo! android app deletes emails, but the emails remain on the server. Why? My Yahoo! account on my Google Mail app syncs perfectly and deletes Yahoo! emails off the server without issue.

    Not only deleted, but also any other folder except of INBOX.
    This makes android app very inconvenient if folders are used.

    This is happening to me too - is there a solution yet?? It only just started for me about two weeks ago.

    I have this problem too!! I am almost never on an actual computer and I logged on today because I needed to type out a long email. I had almost 4000 emails dating back from over a year ago. It took almost 20 minutes to delete all of them. Please, fix this.
