How can we improve New Mail?

My MAC keeps giving me the pop-up that says this app is using significant memory and suggests that I close it.

My MAC keeps giving me the pop up that your app is using significant memory and I should close it. How can I make that stop, because every time I go on Yahoo.com my MAC slows down and becomes unresponsive. I also have a tablet computer but Yahoo works great on it.

    If you guys can't come up with a fix I will discontinue use all together. This is ridiculous.
