I want to block a troublesome sender. How do I do it? I see no option in Settings.
Have an option in settings to block a sender. It's supposed to be there but it's not.

To block a specific address, go to Settings-More Settings-Security and privacy.

I am disgusted at the *** emails being sent through here. My 10 yr old son uses this email also and up pops some *** contact or other every time. There should be some way Yahoo mail can ban these people/ senders, unless of course they maybe are receiving payment from them to distribute **** freely over the internet????

Is someone at yahoo going to answer?? Or will this be ignored like everything else? Since you took off the blocking feature 100's of s_x spam are coming though. Yahoo must be making a fortune off of these. You have become a despicable email service!

Block email addresses
Open an email or select it from your mailbox.
Click the More icon Image of the More icon..
Click Block Senders.
Optionally, select to also delete emails you've received from the sender.
Click Ok.THIS DOES NOT WORK! THERE IS NO BLOCK SENDERS IN MORE SETTINGS.
Now once again how to block???

Why is Yahoo following in the footsteps of AOL ?

I guess the best thing is just to shut off Yahoo as well as AOL.

I just noticed that the blocking feature has been removed from the SPAM tab and this highly disappoints me! Blocking was the one ability I liked the most when being blanketed with SPAM. Therefore, I ask that you bring this feature back and permit Yahoo Mail users the choice of overlooking unwanted SPAM or blocking it.
I also encourage you to expand the blocking feature to allow Yahoo Mail users to block SPAM from entire domains should they choose too. Not only will this reduce SPAM clutter from coming to an individual user's email, it would benefit Yahoo Mail as well.

Why, on earth, would you remove the "block" function? That was basically the only reason I have not dumped this account. Well, you chose revenue over consumer safety and annoyance. Shame on you schmucks.

Why have you eliminated the "Block" feature in Spam folder? I'm tired of deleting the same messages day after day when they could be blocked -
