How can we improve New Mail?

I want to block a troublesome sender. How do I do it? I see no option in Settings.

Have an option in settings to block a sender. It's supposed to be there but it's not.

To block a specific address, go to Settings-More Settings-Security and privacy.

    delete ongoing and unwanted sender in spam folder

    how do I block/delete permanently a specific sender in my spam folder. Sender is not legitimate and I DO NOT want junk sent from them. They are the only ones that end up in the spam folder. Please help me get rid of them permanently!!!

    Hi, I have been able until yesterday to use the 'block sender' option for those peculiar emails. All of a sudden the option is blocked. Can you please advise how to get this option back under the drop down menu under the 3 dots (next to spam). Thank you. This is a very important option especially when you feel your account is under threat.

    I am disgusted at the *** emails being sent through here. My 10 yr old son uses this email also and up pops some *** contact or other every time. There should be some way Yahoo mail can ban these people/ senders, unless of course they maybe are receiving payment from them to distribute **** freely over the internet????

    Where is the block sender from the drop down menu's....this new yahoo pro *****.....also want to be able to block out certain news sources, not just tell you I do not like. Plse. return block sender, I know you to not care but do not plan on renewing.....................

    Where is the selection to BLOCK spam email addresses? I don't want them "filtered" I want to BLOCK THEM ENTIRELY!!!

    Is someone at yahoo going to answer?? Or will this be ignored like everything else? Since you took off the blocking feature 100's of s_x spam are coming though. Yahoo must be making a fortune off of these. You have become a despicable email service!

    Block email addresses
    Open an email or select it from your mailbox.
    Click the More icon Image of the More icon..
    Click Block Senders.
    Optionally, select to also delete emails you've received from the sender.
    Click Ok.

    THIS DOES NOT WORK! THERE IS NO BLOCK SENDERS IN MORE SETTINGS.

    Now once again how to block???

    Please add a “block” button to stop emails from companies or people we don’t want correspondence from! PLEASE!!!!😩😡
