How can we improve New Mail?

Contacts hard to find, edit, alter, and delete

Since the new changes it has become much more difficult to search and edit or delete a single contact. It would be very helpful if a dropdown menu were available to search by several choices such as ending email address or last name or company. partial name, with the ability to select the item and go to edit.

    Trying to add a contact is difficult. I just want to see all my contacts so I can edit them, combine duplicates etc. This was something that we were able to do in classic and even just after the classic. Now I can't get to them to even print out a list of what I do have.

    I liked the original contact information...it was a lot more self explanatory...and easier on the eye for placement...also I added a contact and noticed all contact phone numbers are +1xxx-***-xxxx...why is there a +1 needed...also I would like the contacts listed on the left and easier to assign and get to the list area...thank you...why did you have to mix up the perfect contact information?????

    It's absolutely horrible. You've screwed up my contacts and the very important "Notes" section of them! I am unable to go on there and edit what's there, plus at the moment, I do NOT even see ANYTHING there that lets me add a new contact in! What crackhead Yahoo! employees came up with this nonsense? And when I go to "Basic Yahoo!", you've removed my ability to see my contacts the way I used to see them there as well. I'm SO done with Yahoo! Too many better competitors to these clowns!

    I add, delete and change contacts to my lists and the changes appear to made until I compose an email to the list.

    Frustrating to lose features I relied on. How is it you "upgrade" the Contacts application but lose functionality?
    Please restore iOS sync and improve search capability to all fields, as soon as possible. Thank you

    Have created a new list. it does not offer it as an option when I click bcc. Also it won't update existing lists. Annoying, time consuming, costing my business

    Less idea. More complaint. I don't like nor understand the new "lists." I have reviewed the previous posts and voted. Nothing has changed. It appears that this forum is just a place for us to "air" our dislikes, but you do not read, review, respond or regard them. I have seen no change to the Lists nor have I seen any Response to the grievances. Since I can't figure out how to use the Contact lists like I use to and you won't do anything about it, I am going to look for another email service that I can use.

    Edit feature on contacts only work on some contacts and not all. It may be co-incidence but any contact I have that I may not have had email correspondence with as yet is unable to be edited.

    I can NOT delete the (4) e mail address's for pay-pal from my contacts....WHY?

    I can't edit address or edit details on existing contacts. Please fix.

    PLEASE correct the contacts so that these lists are easier to find and then edit. Why oh why did you change it? I'm spending too much time trying to edit a simple contact, and then it didn't save. ugh!!

    I agree that the new contact list is difficult to use, difficult to add to, difficult to correct when someone changes their address. I much preferred the older version and found it fine for all uses. This one has not even carry over some of the information I had on the original version. There is nothing I like about it now!

    With the new Yahoo Mail, I can no longer add the sender or recipient of an email to my address book. I even googled "how do I add a sender or recipient to my Yahoo Mail address book", but it only gave me the solution for the old Yahoo mail.

    Why cannot I add addressees addresses automatically???? It seems like the most basic of email functions. I have spent over half an hour online trying to figure out how to do this. The article I fond from two weeks ago gives step by step instructions, but by step four, my account shows a very different screen.
    I can everywhere find how to send from a fictitious account or hide my own name in sent emails, but not how to save my sister's work email. Has Yahoo become only a platform for hackers and spammers, or can honest people still use this?

    I have added new contacts to one of my group lists, which is very difficult, and when I go to select my group to send them and email, my new contacts are not listed in the group. Can you please fix this? If not please go back to the old way of doing this.

    The contact portion is virtually unusable. I can’t add contacts or delete them. Please fix it.

    Go back to original setup this new one just does not work old contacts were very easy to manage and move in and out of lists.

    When I click on To:, cc: or bcc the list does not contain the revisions I have made in my contact list. Do I need to do something to sync these?
