How can we improve New Mail?

Contacts hard to find, edit, alter, and delete

Since the new changes it has become much more difficult to search and edit or delete a single contact. It would be very helpful if a dropdown menu were available to search by several choices such as ending email address or last name or company. partial name, with the ability to select the item and go to edit.

    Contacts, contacts, contacts - where are they? There is no hope of copying a group contact list to send elsewhere, I tried to delete a contact - the whole list was deleted. Rotten is the kindest I can spit out.

    Before the contacts format changed, when I changed something in a contact, it would sync with the contact on my iPhone. Now with the new format, if I change something in contacts in YahooMail online, it does not change the contact within iPhone.

    Please fix yahoo mail contact management soon or I will be forced to move away from yahoo.

    Impossible to add a contact that has been deleted. Contact management is terrible!

    I can no longer search for a specific phone number in Contacts! This is AWFUL! I previously did this for unknown callers before blocking the number to make sure that it wasn't from someone in my Contacts. Now it's impossible to do this. WHY did you remove this important feature?

    Maybe I'm wrong but there is NO way to SORT CONTACT LISTS. Names on a list appear in random order making it almost impossible and unnecessarily time consuming to find a contact.

    Explain to me the reasoning behind this!!

    I'd like you to go back to the old lists and they way they can altered etc. It's almost impossible to find an individual on any of my lists.

    So we are all having issues with our contacts. I can't believe i am paying a fee to Yahoo for email (no ads) only to not be able to edit, add, delete contacts. I too have had my Yahoo address for almost 20 years, but this is ridiculous. FIX THE ISSUE NOW!!!

    In Basic Email no contacts are missing, but notes are missing.....LOL

    Graag terug oude versie van adresboek. Contact lijsten kunnen niet meer afgedrukt worden met persoonsgegevens. Roep je een contact op, dan verschijnt niet meer in welke lijst of groep de persoon staat.
    Graag terug alfabetische lijsten.
    Het werkte goed vroeger, waarom veranderen ?

    I can no longer easily easily enter my contacts or sort them or even edit them.No easy way to enter first and last name separately and . My list is now sorted incorrectly depending on what Yahoo has decided is a first or last name. names appear sorted by either first or last name, whereas before your change they were sorted by last names per my choice. There was nothing at all wrong with the way contacts were done prior to your changes!!! Not sure what paying for my yahoo mail is getting me other then no ads. It Is however giving me a lot of aggravation.

    I've never posted anything before on yahoo.uservoice but this ridiculous design of the contacts prompted me to complain!

    When adding a new contact on the side bar, the contact isn't really added to the contact list. These can be duplicated by create a new contact using the "New Mail" contact side bar, creating a new Contact List and trying to add the new contact to the list. The contact will never show. If you go back to "classic mail", the contact you tried adding earlier doesn't show up.

    This new contact thing is TERRIBLE.... I have different accounts for clubs at church where I need to edit contact lists for distribution!!! Can't do it anymore because everything from all my accounts gets pulled together....

    TERRIBLE upgrade... At least as far as Contact editing and manipulation!!!!

    I also cannot edit (button greyed out) my contacts.. or add more than one email for a contact. This is nonsense!!

    My contacts no longer come up in full screen. They only show on the right hand side of the screen. There is no way to see all the information nor EDIT my contacts! Please add a tab to show in full screen!!!!

    Switching to Yahoo Pro does not solve any of these problems. I tried it.

    I find it very difficult to maintain my groups of contacts and to see which groups a contact is in.
    The previous version was infinitely better.
    The system now is very bad and unless I am missing an option I will be moving from yahoo mail because it is wasting too much time and very difficult to maintain.
    again unless I am missing something it has been overlooked in the development of the new system.
    Please help and tell me if yahoo pro would solve the problem?
