Windows 7 home edition Internet Explorer not allowing Yahoo Email? Please support that!
I wish that this legacy computer would allow me to get back to using my email account. I suppose I could spend the extra time and money to install Firefox or some other browser. I have a crucial (personally) password change to my pension account that I can not easily access because of this unavailability. Am I doing something wrong? I had been a college instructor 10 years ago and now that I qualify for retirement, Yahoo is less about serving the elderly and more about serving itself in my humble opinion. I will get my pension, but it has been delayed by this oversight and planned obsolescence.
What do you think about the legacy of former civil servants and non support of what was adequate and at one time essential software compatibility? Will Yahoo allow poor folks to continue to use legacy machines with legacy software to access their application as they charge ahead to be the latest and greatest product?
Hello there,
Internet Explorer is no longer a supported browser for Yahoo products. Most Yahoo products are browser-based and work best with the newest version (excluding “beta”) of the browsers listed below. Yahoo features may not work properly if you’re using an older operating system (which can’t be updated) or an outdated or unsupported browser. We are sorry if this is causing you an inconvenience!
