Sometimes I have emails numbering in the hundreds and posting 1 or more days prior to the actual posting date.
How about rejecting any emails that posting a date after the date of the email.

I think this is quite a good idea. Lessens server use. Unclogs emails and makes paying attention to emails that are important possible.
