Better help or troubleshooting
There seems to be an issue with large blocks of emails getting transferred to trash without the user of their account doing it, as is the case with my account. Yesterday I noticed several emails missing from May 2021. This morning when I opened my email (on iPhone mail app) the "newest" email was from January 2021. I navigated to trash and found most of the recent emails there, some appearing to be read. No one has access to my devices and my account has not been hacked. When searching Yahoo help for a solution, answers suggest the user changed settings or accidentally deleted emails, to navigate to the trash folder and restore or change setting back to what they were before emails moved themselves to trash. My issue is HOW did they get moved in the first place and HOW do I prevent this from happening again?
So in other words, more comprehensive troubleshooting or help (without having to contact support directly) would be fantastic.
