The last Yahoo mail interface is not efficient. It's hard to use. I do not like the way mails are displayed. It's not flexible. I had difficulties to find how to mark a mail as READ (it looks Yohoo Mail do not mark a mail as read by itself)! Globally it's really a bad job. I don't understand why an organisation like yours initiate change in the interface when it already works correctly and nobody complains. It looks the same, your developers need something to justify their job, but when I see the result, it is more justifying to fire them!

The new GUI is absolutely awful. Asking to revert to the prior GUI now takes me back to some ancient version that is equally unusable. Bring back the "intermediate-age" GUI that I unfortunately "upgraded" from. I've already been driven to forward yahoo mail to outlook so this is doing you no good

I still have classic mail on another email account, so I KNOW that you can.
What is the matter with you all? Why do you keep changing things that don't improve anything?
Just give us a classic mail option.
New looks, new versions are supposed to be opt in, not mandatory!
Give me back classic mail! -

all these stupid changes your company has made to the email service on this website are absolute garbage. Things are not more easily organized, you just changed **** around from how people already know it. Furthermore, I DIDN'T WANT TO OPEN AN EMAIL I DIDN'T CLICK ON. DO NOT OPEN NEXT EMAIL IN CHAIN IF ONE IS MARKED AS SPAM, GO BACK TO INBOX. THAT'S THE BEST WAY.

The new email format is hard to read -color background do not significantly highlight emails that are not read. When writing emails, the ability to change font colors sizing, type of font, spellcheck is not available on new email version. Keep old email version, easy to read and write

There is too much bold font. Subject of the message only in bold.
Get rid of the round icons for each sender; they are not helpful and distracting. Simple is best.
Keep the time divisions in the Inbox. "yesterday" "last week" then the months. They are so helpful.
The old yahoo is so much easier on the eyes, simple, clear.

The whole Yahoo mail SUCKS!!!!!!!!
-No way to do an automated spell check before sending
-No way to post date an email or set up a vacation message for incoming message
-AND every since I had to use YAHOO instead of Outlook to send messages I am UNABLE to set up Outlook to connect with Yahoo mail, and I'll be damned if I will pay $5 a month for "mail" support. I'll use GMAIL instead. -

I do only simple work on my computer. the email I am getting has places I do not go ever, I do not shop online I look a lot and I research. Please leave the classic email alone. Sometimes you get right the first time. AI yea, let's make everyone sound the same bland nobody. How sad,

Same!
What a relief to see that option there today!A few points for me:
- The clearly defined columns and column spacing makes gleaning information from the list of emails MUCH simpler. The new layout had a dynamic column size per line that made it a total mess.
- The color options in class were much more readable. Pure white text on pure black background is harsh and uncomfortable, my classic uses the blue background which is a nice medium between the light and dark modes. The lighter BG in the menus and the slightly darker BG in the main list makes it easy to visually move between the two sets of items on the screen.
- Simple bolding of email text in the inbox is a clear indicator of read vs unread, whoever thought the new interface was easy was trying to re-invent the wheel for no reason.
- The AI summaries were awful! Had one making up items on an order which have me worried I accidentally bout 2x $700 items when I only wanted one! The subject line IS the general summary or topic of an email, why do I need an AI to further summarize it - even IF it managed to be correct? Let the subject line do its' job!The rollback to classic was the best decision Yahoo has made in a long, long time. While the updated interface is more reminiscent of the Tumblr buyout.

The best to get the old mail back. I was considering leaving yahoo, after like 24 years...

Thank you, Yahoo, for returning the former--and user-friendlier--version of Yahoo Mail to us. You had the format nailed already: There was never a need to change it!

Assuming I am the only one who can see my emails. I don't appreciate yahoo reading my email and putting it up in a box where anyone can see the information. !!!!

I have tried the new email out and it has sent very important emails into those "categories" . First off, why the different categories? why not keep it "read" and "not read" and let me assign them my self. I HATE the new yahoo setups.

Thank you SO much for putting the classic version back to what it was. It's so much easier to navigate.
