Yahoo! Mail keeps closing when I download attachments (Firefox)
I'm using the most up-to-date version of Firefox, although this was happening on previous versions too. When I download an email attachment, I frequently find that the Yahoo! Mail tab shuts down, and I have to click on another tab and hit Reopen closed tab to get it back. It's really annoying. Please can you work out what causes this problem and/or solve it?

Firefox is the only browser I use and it's up to date. In fact, it just updated about 30 minutes ago yet this issue persists! I have posted this same issue on Firefox help because I'm not sure if this issue is Firefox or Yahoo. I've seen other posts saying they don't have this issue with chrome so that makes me think it's a Firefox issue but could still be a Yahoo issue.. in their code regarding how it operates on Firefox. Sorry if I repeat myself here, I copy/pasted this from my post at Firefox Help.
For the last several months, anytime I download ANY attachment from yahoo, the tab closes out 9 out of 10 times. If I download 2 or more files in a row, it closes out 30 seconds after starting the first download. Sometimes I am able to get 5 pictures downloaded before it closes... if I do them fast enough. But if I download 2 pictures and wait out that 30 seconds, it closes the yahoo tab EVERY TIME. I am not sure if an algorithm is picking up multiple downloads as an attack of some sort.... if this is a Firefox issue or a Yahoo issue. There is another thread in FF help regarding this issue but it just talks about downloads in general... It's def not specific to HTML downloads! I sell stuff on Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, eBay and Nextdoor so I take a lot of pictures on my phone then email them to myself so I can download them and sort into folders on my PC...keeping stuff organized so I can find what I need later. This is REALLY annoying!!! Would be nice if someone from Firefox would at least address/acknowledge the issue but with no response, it seems like no one is even looking into this. Since the latest Windows Feature Update, foxtana pro no longer works. I just removed the extension thinking (long shot) that it may be causing issues, but haven't had a chance to test this download issue as I just removed it 2 minutes ago... after battling through 30+ downloads. I have yahoo as my home page so it's fairly easy to open a new tab and click the home button... but then I have to find the email I was on and remember which picture I last downloaded so I can pick up where I left off. Def a PIA!
