Improve the spam filter. I have marked over 900 spam emails over the last 6 months, all originating or having these characteristics:
- Return-Path: <random_string@netorg<random_number>.onmicrosoft.com>
AND/OR
Received-SPF: pass (domain of netorg<random-number>.onmicrosoft.com designates <IP> as permitted sender.
Is it so hard for Yahoo Mail Spam filter to block these?
As I mentioned, I have marked hundreads of them as SPAM and Yahoo still hasn't learned yet?? -

I have several senders in my contact list whose emails go to spam every time. Each and every day I mark them not spam only to find the next days' emails in spam AGAIN. It totally blocks some senders that are in my contact last. You can't be serious by charging for premium support for such a shoddy product. Free support in the past was never helpful. I sure as heck wouldn't pay for it.

I receive a dozen or more spam emails daily. Filters don't help as my quota of 1000 is used within a week or so. The spammers use random generated email and the spam is the same but the sender is different each time. Crating new rules and adding another filter doesn't help either. Please do something better than what you already have! This is not an idea but cry for help out of sheer frustration.

I began looking for other email option becasue I don't want to spend my time unsubscribing and deleting the same spam emails everyday!

Why did Yahoo take away the option to "block sender"??? Now I have to deal with spam mail that no matter how many times you "unsubscribe" even though I never subscribed to them, they keep popping up!! At least if you all was going to remove the block function you all should get better of blocking spam email that have been FLAGGED AS SPAM!

I am unimpressed that you have removed the section from the far right hand side [...] that allowed us to block spam. I get heaps of spam and would like to see this function returned so that Ic an then continue to block spam emails

You used to have BLOCK SENDER option for years....FREE
Now it appears you have to pay for upgraded service to get this option.....Seems like yahoo is intentionally letting spammers in just to sell their service ??????
Is it not illegal for all these spammers presenting themselves as Major Corporations...Walmart,Lowes,Kohls....etc ????
Bring back the BLOCK SENDERS tab......for FREE !!! -

I blocked a domain, but still receive spam emails from this domain. The titles of these emails have sexually explicit language are soliciting sex. I NEVER OPEN THESE SPAM EMAILS. I look up the raw email to get the email address and manually block it. They all have the same domain name that I listed as blocked. Why do I keep getting these horrible emails. I NEVER SUBSCRIBED or authorized anything to get these. My email is being sold over and over. I am sure of that. This time to email addresses ending in co.uk and a domain that is not being blocked. Is there anything to stop this?

Hi
Why can't I block everything from my spam box when some e-mail arrives with an "invalid" address? For example "your ukrainian girl@morales.resourcenature.com"
and the like.
It really annoys me that more and more of this kind of spam is pouring in every single day.
If e-mail with "invalid" address can be sent and it reaches the recipient, it should be possible to block the sender.
Regards

would love it if you'd bring back the option to "sort" emails BY SENDER. Sometimes I've saved emails thinking I'll get back to it and take advantage of a sale etc., but forget about it. Would love to do a "SORT BY SENDER" so I can then delete ALL those since they have most likely expired.

If I "click" the "Mark as spam" in the tool bar, I DO NOT want to be asked if I would rather "Unsubscribe." You know, or you should, this immediately gives spammers an idea that I am a legitimate email address and opens the flood gates! Your spam filters already suck if you are asking! Please remove this. I want to "Mark as spam" and move on!
Yahoo! Mail combined this comment on "UserVoice" with this "subject matter" and honestly, other than the word "spam", It is not similar at all....Sorry for crowding this feed!!

I have been a Yahoo customer for over 10 years during this time SPAM mail has increased to unacceptable amounts. Used the Yahoo email address and domain blocking provided but to no avail. Blocked emails and domains continue to allow messages even though they are "blocked"??? Contacted Yahoo customer service which was a joke and no real help offered other than for me to change my email address

I want to be able to block, remove any past messages especially on offensive emails. I used to be able to block and stop any future emails but the service is no longer on my account. It's a shame that so many scams and criminals get to send me emails. Some of these places probably have hundreds of addresses to keep posting us. Yahoo really should give us more power with our account. Thanks
