help with stopping email forwarding
A long time ago I sub to yahoo plus and forwarded my email to my gmail address. I asked for help to stop it and got no answers and to this day I am seeing copies of emails in my gmail. I have not subbed to yahoo plus in many years (over 10 most likely) and would like the forwarding to stop. Also why should i pay for assistance to stop this? This is a bad practice. Yahoo was one of my original emails (hot mail was first). But honestly I would have long ago if I had not signed up to other websites with my yahoo mail.

So I called the technician number i got from the yahoo customer support on facebook and got the run around again, they claim that there is nothing forwarding the email and also claimed that I was never subscribed (that is wrong). I have screenshots and everything of the forwarded email, then they tried to tell me it was a third party app etc, however the screen shot eliminated that as well because it showed the forwarded email on the gmail web page. then they tried to tell me it was a setting in gmail, but again the screen shot showed that it was being forwarded from yahoo on the gmail web email and I was not using the Gmail android app etc.
This is a glitch on yahoos end. This is very annoying. They also do not listen and I had to repeat myself tons of times. So now after the run around, and them closing this idea, I am now ignored.

So I contacted Yahoo support (again and again) and I got the exact same place I have gotten over the years. I have a pic of the chat so you can see how it went but for some reason the yahoo agent chat would not log, but mine did. I took a pic as well. I will post the logged part for you all to see.
Paste: (i can only go so far back, and had to edit a lot out to fit)
(09:26:44 AM) Shawn Eastman: Yes
(10:58:08 AM) Shawn Eastman: And therein lies the problem you need Yahoo Mail Plus. So I will give you screenshots of the problem. I use evolution mail while using Linux.
(10:59:40 AM) Shawn Eastman: Since I haven't paid for Yahoo Plus in over 10 years the settings for mail forwarding don't show up yet as you can see from the last two pictures it's still getting forwarded. I can tell you what I did back when I had Yahoo Mail Plus like over 10 years ago, I had all the mail forwarded to my Gmail address except for the spam. As you can see in the last two pictures the same eBay email is in both addresses.
(11:15:59 AM) Shawn Eastman: That had nothing to do with the issue I use in email client, if you look a little bit closer you will see the same email is showing up in both accounts if you want I can use the online picture as well and you will see the exact same thing. As I explained before Yahoo is forwarding the email to my Gmail account and I would like that to stop.
(11:19:25 AM) Shawn Eastman: Here is a cropped in doodled on couple of pictures so you can see what I'm talking about.
(11:20:50 AM) Shawn Eastman: I'm not concerned with them showing up in the same client I am concerned with the exact same email as you can see in the pictures showing up in both emails, one from Yahoo and one from Google. I set this up over 10 years ago to happen which I communicated previously, and have been trying to get it to stop since giving up quite a few times because I couldn't get any help from Yahoo to end it. This was a glitch that happened.
(11:22:04 AM) Shawn Eastman: As I said I would like the forwarding from Yahoo to Gmail to stop and there's no available settings for me to change that.
(11:25:29 AM) Shawn Eastman: Here is a picture of the issue, maybe I'm not communicating it right
(11:27:49 AM) Shawn Eastman: All of the emails that are not perceived as spam are getting forwarded to my Gmail account.

As I told you specifically I set it up in yahoo mail about 15 years ago. I set up Yahoo mail to forward non-spam to my Gmail address when I paid for Yahoo Plus. I stopped paying for Yahoo plus over 10 years ago and would like the forwarding to stop but it never has.
I have sought help on this repetitively but nobody at Yahoo is able to do it it has to be a server setting on Yahoo's end. No settings are available to me because I do not pay for Yahoo plus anymore. This is a glitch on Yahoo's end.
It has absolutely nothing to do with third party software.
