Ads
We should be able to opt out of certain ads on our email home page. I do not want certain ads popping up on my home page. I know that we have to have those annoying ads on our screen, but we should be able to opt out of ones we find offensive for some.

And it's always about dating, relationships, or sex. Truly obscene that it's always "unread" and that you can even accidentally click on it! And you want people to pay actual money to get rid of it? Not even King of Ads Google does this ****, and they're GOOGLE! This is why I shunt my emails to my Gmail app, but you annoying pieces of garbage throw up a DMARC wall trying to send my Yahoo mail via Google. Garbage company.

The sheer frequency of ads is bad enough. But the number of ads that I have to repeatedly define as "not appropriate" (and even "seen too often" or "repetitive") is absurd. If Yahoo is using A.I. to oversee this side of things, it's needs to be redefined to A.S.: "Absolutely Stupid." Because if there were any sort of "intelligence" being used (artificial or otherwise—or heaven help us: human), it would have picked up on what being clicked/assigned and done something meaningful about it. Or maybe it will need to be renamed: "Absolutely Self-interested," since Yahoo will continue to do what it wants to do (to fill its pockets), and it doesn't really matter what we say.

Remove the ad from the top of my inbox. If this were a free service I would gladly overlook that but I'm paying for this and should not be forced to work around an ad.

I have been both regular and YahooPlus member for 30+ years.
I cannot afford to 'PAY' for clean email any longer.
But it is just HORRIBLE about the ads EVERYWHERE. They now take up ober 30% of my viewable screen AND are scattered thoughout my email threads.. it is just too much, too invasive. Not to mention slows performance of Yahoo Mail. I have not wanted to cancel emal but it is getting just too far out of hand. Both MS and GMail are not nearly as bad-- and they are FREE . And I will need to soon decide cancel Yahoo! once and for all. Please help! -
