Verification Code not sending
Apologies for posting a technical issue on this post. I am in Australia, unfortunately, none of your suggested technical contact phone numbers accept calls from my region, your help menu does not offer any assistance to internationals, and contacting a Yahoo specialist does not work from Australia. I did however contact Yahoo headquarters in California, but it just went to message bank. IF you can, please forward through a help line for international technical support. I did contact Yahoo Australia in Sydney, but they are just a media centre, and offer no support for anything.
For the first time in over 15 years, I have an issue with Yahoo mail. For some reason, over the last two (2) weeks Yahoo mail will not send a Verification Code to my mobile phone? Without this code, as you know, I am unable to access my email.
I do have a secondary email, also with Yahoo, that requires me to use a long-deleted recovery email address from a previous partner almost 10 years ago. I do not have any contact details for my previous partner. I have attempted to change this recovery email address in the past, but to no avail. I may have missed something? OR, this is not able to be updated?
I am simply going around in circles attempting to log in. Can someone at Yahoo please help with this issue. I have done everything in your help menu, but without Yahoo sending through a Verification Code, I hit a wall.
Thank you in advance, and again my apologies for posting a technical issue here. I just did not know where else to turn? I did also try the 24/7 support option, but is not offered in Australia. Surely, a company as large as Yahoo must have an Australasian/ Pacific office somewhere offering technical support?
I have connected my old Gmail account to Yahoo as an attempt to log in through Yahoo mail. This was suggested by someone else having a Verification Code not being sent issue. This Gmail account is not syncing. However, please send any correspondence to the Gmail address, and I am happy to pass my non-working yahoo email addresses on to the technical support consultant.
Obviously, there is an issue with people being able to get basic technical assistance with Yahoo? There are a lot of posts on this forum with people asking for technical assistance. Several people that I have spoken with have simply walked away from Yahoo. This is not good for the Yahoo brand. I have recently found this rather surprising considering Yahoo is such a large market leader in the industry!
Enjoy your day
Dave
