Suggestion for features I would like to see incorporated into the Yahoo email app
Subject: Feature Request: Option to delete individual emails within conversation threads and drafts
Hello,
I am a regular user of the Yahoo Mail app and would like to suggest two features that would significantly improve the user experience.
The first suggestion is to add an option to delete an individual email from a conversation thread without needing to disable the "Conversations" setting. While other email apps like Gmail already offer this functionality, in the current Yahoo app, deleting one message requires turning off the grouped conversations view, which is disruptive to the workflow. Having a direct "Delete" option for a single message within the thread would be more intuitive and efficient for managing a long conversation.
My second request is to include an option to delete an email draft from within the draft message itself. Currently, to delete a draft, a user must exit the email and delete it from the Drafts folder list. A "Discard Draft" or "Delete" button, accessible while the draft is open, would streamline the process and prevent users from accidentally saving unwanted or incomplete messages.
Both of these features would enhance usability by saving time and reducing friction for users. They would align the Yahoo Mail app with modern email app functionalities and make it easier for users to manage their mail efficiently.
Thank you for considering these suggestions.
Sincerely,
A loyal Yahoo Mail app user
