Return to old mail version- new is buggy
The new email for web is poorly designed, does not use the space and makes functions more difficult to access. For people with sight and dexterity limitations, it is now fill with barriers to use. I am doubtful an accessibility consultant was a part of their design decisions.
There is an enormous blank, unused space on the right of the page. The email titles are compressed into a narrow column in the middle of the page, and when opened, more scrolling is required to read the whole email. Please allow people to opt out of the right hand column, which does nothing, so they can expand the centre column and see their whole email.
The yahoo calendar is not clearly marked and now requires an extra step to find and access instead of being clearly displayed in a tab- there is now a large empty field (bad design, who chose that?) where the calendar tab used to be.
For those with multiple email accounts, it is difficult to access the drop down menu- which is now hidden at the bottom of the page instead of clearly displayed at the top. THIS MENU DOES NOT RESPOND ON A TOUCH SCREEN, so those who use tablets must now use a mouse to access (c'mon, man, that's a massive BUG).
The highlight difference between read and unread emails is no longer discernible. Please fix- unread emails should be BOLD. This does not increase ease of use or functionality, it makes it more difficult.
Please allow people to opt out of "AI", which is garbage and only makes things LESS efficient. People want control of their email, not to farm it out to a plagiarizing bullsh*t generator and privacy threat.
