  2. I have a big problem with the "New and improved" yahoo mail. I can send and recieve my emails without a problem, but if I want to send an em

    I cant send emails with attachments, yahoo mail will not attach documents and it is really annoying. please fix

    Emails will hit our Spam filters before they hit the Block filters (or regular filters) on an account. This means that if an email is filtered as Spam it will go there before it is blocked.

    If email addresses you have on your Blocked list still come to the inbox, please contact us through our Help pages (help.yahoo.com) or post the details on our Community Forums (forums.yahoo.net)

    We’ll send an Account Key text when you create a Yahoo account or make security changes to an existing account. You’ll need to enter the Account Key when prompted to confirm your account or changes.

    If you received an Account Key text but didn’t create an account or make security changes, then someone else mistyped their number and accidentally used yours.

    Don’t worry, they won’t be able to move forward with your mobile number because they don’t have possession of your phone to get the Account Key.

    Hi there,

    You should be able to access any mail you have not deleted, regardless of the date from an active mailbox. To access your oldest mail, click on “Sort” on the top left of the message list and select “oldest to newest”

    Our Spam filters override any filters/blocked addresses on the account, so if something is deemed to be Spam, it will ignore filters on the account and go there.

  13. Can we limit the search feature to the in box and not all mail

    Currently when we do a search it brings up all the conversations including those that have been filed. Is there a way to limit the searches to the in box and not all boxes.

    If the timestamps on emails are off on the web, you can make sure you’ve selected the right timezone in the Settings menu and verify that your computer’s clock is correct.

  16. This week I have had two days that I could not get to my messages in Yahoo mail. Let us know when you are working on site.

    Send an email to subscribers letting them know they will experience down time on emails because you are working on issues. Hate being in the dark -- my computer was not at fault.

    Sometimes when emails go missing it’s because of another program or app the account is being accessed from. Check out this post for more info and how to restore missing emails.

  20. I keep getting messages to whitelist and I've tried but need better instructions.

    Hi there,

    The instructions depend on the software you maybe using. We have tried to capture the steps for the most frequently used programs here:

    Note if you are using Firefox, you can follow the steps under the heading “Turn off Tracking Protection for individual sites” on the following page:

    We have seen issues where users using Ad Blockers have not been able to see the latest email in their inbox due to the ad blocking software incorrectly blocking it. Whitelisting Yahoo Mail should eliminate issues like this.
    Of course it will also mean that ads will not be blocked, but its not cheap to provide 1TB of email storage for free for everyone, so we need to pay the bills somehow!
