It's disturbing that Yahoo feels the need to eliminate free discourse. It smacks of the best of totalitarians from both extremes.
As someone actually in that odd (these days anyway) center of politics, it disturbs me greatly to see a platform where anyone can voice their opinion without fear of retribution eliminated. Obviously the extremists on both sides (Nate, Richard(s), James(s)) voiced their screwed up perspectives on almost everything, but there was a lot of good, valid discourse in the comments. I think that perhaps the Yahoo/Verizon management was overly sensitive to so many pointing out the inaccuracies and bias of their content.
