Yahoo should not rely on their vendor Open Web to moderate the comments section as their filters are entirely too restrictive.
Yahoo should allow their readership to set the allowable standards in the comments section or at least, coordinate with Open Web to loosen their overly-restrictive standards. There are terms which are perfectly G rated and still they are not allowed. Case in point, the term "useful idiot". if it stings anyone, it is only because it should, otherwise, I'm the one who's off-base and will accept the consequences for my position.

Many articles by some media associates like Revista Semana are hillarious for its bias and low quality and incomplete notes. I find that offensive and funny I want to react with a "makes me laugh" emoji reaction, but you do not have that option, Why not?

Make the home page more tailored
I would love to get rid of all the sports stuff and the "Scoreboard" "Trending" "Horoscope" and other junk on my homepage.
And get rid of the ads - don't make me buy Yahoo+ for that. You make plenty of money off the links. No need to squeeze me dry.
I would love it if I could get rid of a news source like Business Insider and then NEVER see them again. Why does it come back again later? BI is still the same old ****** news service that I tried to delete.122nd ranked -

Make articles in news feed relavent to where subscriber lives. We don't need to see what happens in some little town we don't live in.
I tried managing publishers and the show less button. More than half of the articles on my news feed are from the little towns across the US. Do I care what happens to a community center, or a high school sports team in another state. Why am i seeing the Marion Star and tons of others like the same.
