  2. Tell people exactly what word in a comment, triggered Yahoo's "Community Guidelines"

    The subject article was about the passing of Phillies pitcher Curt Simmons. I was replying to another commenter. It was rejected. I somehow violated "community guidelines". My comment was about baseball and baseball stats. There was no derogatory, racial, sexist, hateful, in-your-face etc., word in my reply. Hey Yahoo, if you're going to reject a comment, tell the person exactly what word triggered your "community guidelines". Maybe you should dial back your algorithm sensitivity switch a little.

    I call in about a security feature and got "Joe Cool" Customer Service Rep..... I could not get straight answers.... Way to dissuade people for reaching out to the yahoo mothership for help

    yahoo, Comcast, gmail accounts, all with different password were hacked and my inboxes was deleted

    my iOS apple phone also has a VPN, neg for spyware

    apple does not know, the yahoo assistant in India does not know, gmail does not know. --

    I should be able to update my name and dob on the personal information setting area. When sending my email information to others my personal name should not be sent. unless I select either nickname or personal can you make a version or send to my gender I can update why not the entirety!!

  14. I need to delete the list of blocked addresses. All 967 addresses have been recycled so this list is moot

    Your "blocked" list is useless. All the spam companies have been allowed to function with new addresses by you. I refuse to pay for a "service" that provides nothing to add more spam companies to this "blocked" list. Your filter doesn't function either.

    SPAM! Can Yahoo educate it's Spam filter to stop erroneous emails coming through. Here are some ideas to "block" spam

    1) Crazy subject lines pretending to be Amazon, Kohl's

    2) Monitor inbound IP addresses. Quarantine foreign IP addresses that look spam like or Phishing Like.

    3) Scan the embedded URL links. If they look phishy...BLOCK THEM

    4) Gmail has failed to check fake users and fake accounts. So much junk mail is coming in from gmail. They should introduce 2-3 step verification to weed out the fake accounts looking to phish around. Bad on them!

  19. Of late I am having serious problem in accessing yahoomail. It is asking for changing password everytime. It is quite irritating.

    Reason? I just got a phishing email at my s******gmail.com account saying that someone accessed my yahoo email with my password. I have 2 step verification though and this was odd. I then went to my yahoo email and saw the same message.
