Why a limited number of emails per page? Can't seem to fix this in settings
Why is there only 25 emails per page? I have tried to fix this in settings but can't navigate how to fix this issue. I have looked online to try and see how others have fixed this but none of their solutions have worked. I have more than 25 emails of differently related subjects I would like to be on one page so I don't have to go back and forth trying to find the correct one.

We should be able to set our own font sizes so people with different eyes, displays, and circumstances can adjust appropriately.
It is a foolish thing to force people on this. It can affect long-term vision, fatigue, and a whole host of physiological issues. -

We should be able to change the format so that we can see at least twice the number of emails in one screen, they need to be spaced closer together and have the option for smaller print. This is aggravating to only see 13 emails per page.

Add an option in "Viewing email" to change the Font Size and the Vertical Spacing.
Most people complain that the texts are too small, but on my 32 inch monitor, they are too big and the vertical spacing is too wide. Here, the "one size fits all" doesn't work. Please let us change the Font Size and the Vertical Spacing between lines. -

The inbox list of messages has far too much space between messages, meaning very few display on a page. I need to see more of them at once by removing the extra line spacing. It is ridiculous that we have to suggest ideas to get back what we had a month ago before you completely ruined the user experience. Why would you force longtime users into something we hate? I have the paid version and it is not because I want you to completely redo everything, it is because I want to just keep using the thing I have had for decades without any major changes.

In keeping with the new version, I'd at least like an option to change the size of the display. Everything is Huge!?

Note: Some administrator incorrectly merged this into a COMPLETELY UNRELATED topic about "Why a limited number of emails per page? Why is there only 25 emails per page?" There used to be a preference setting to control the vertical spacing of items displayed in the inbox. This setting was REMOVED.
The new inbox only fits 8 lines of mail on screen (at 100% zoom on a large monitor). It used to fit a LOT more. Not only does this disruptively require me to immediately start scrolling to see any mail more then three hours old, it makes it painfully difficult to scan through older mails.
It appears that webdesign schools have been teaching that "more whitespace is always better", and they are wrong. All the excessive whitespace your web design team keeps adding leaves almost no space for actual useful content on screen. At a minimum, RESTORE THE "INBOX SPACING" CONTROL SETTING.

**DELETED** A confused administrator incorrectly merged a COMPLETELY UNRELATED issue into here.
For anyone who is objecting to the PAINFULLY LOW NUMBER OF MAILS VISIBLE ON SCREEN WITHOUT PAGING OR SCROLLING, who wants a fix for the REMOVED PREFERENCE FOR INBOX SPACING, see https://yahoo.uservoice.com/forums/962180-new-yahoo-mail/suggestions/49583084-return-the-prefference-control-for-inbox-spacing
On the subject of this issue, the newly deployed interface is using lazy loaded infinite scrolling for the inbox, while the "classic" interface changed to paged loading for the inbox. It appears most of the replies here are either objecting to the inbox spacing issue (which was incorrectly merged here), or are they are objecting to removal of lazy-loading infinite-scroll from the "classic" interface. Although do I see at least one person who wants paged view in the new interface.

5 March 2025. I could not reproduce this bug. I can scroll all conversation threads in my browser.

Email thread is not in proper timestamp order!

To view a previous, intermediate email in a thread, you have to click twice. I would rather they were always listed in a tighter format, so only one click is needed to open one. It gives a more streamlined view of the whole conversation.

The new message viewing window is too small to view the full width of emails, so makes it difficult to read them. Photos and text are consistently chopped off on one side. Also, I can no longer find the arrow to click through emails automatically without navigating through the inbox.
I have come to vastly prefer the native Apple mail app and Gmail's desktop mail service to the new Yahoo. Overall, the new layout is hard to read, and not very functional in the ways that are actually useful to me.

Emails, when displayed as a list, have too much space between them. I can only see half as may emails on my monitor as I could in the past

An email inbox is not the place to have an infinite scroll. It is important to have discrete pages and the ability to access deeper pages easily.
Similarly, if this is to be a great inbox, there needs to be an actual compact view, where you can see many more emails listed out at once. I don't want fluffly padding between the content that I'm trying to view.
Yahoo is losing the plot by focusing on aesthetic.

I do not think the New Yahoo Mail is an improvement over the prior version. Although it is more colorful, there is TOO MUCH SPACE between each of the emails listed in the In Box. And there is no way to modify the amount of space. Suggest a future update includes the capability to modify the space between each listed email in the In Box and various sub-folders.

Please add an option to increase the density of the number of emails that are shown in a page. Many people get a LOT of email and it's helpful to see as much as possible on a single page. Thanks for your consideration

I agree with others on this. having to scroll through all my emails no matter how many is a nice feature that Yahoo does and I think they should go back to that feature.

I agree this feature should be brought back. It allows me to scroll through all my emails.
