WHAT'S NEW?
Reply/Forward Icons - You can see the arrow icons when you've replied or forwarded to a message.
Up/Down Arrow, Scrolls Now - In full message view, not preview pane.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the email to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox. 
Search Results Will Show Folder - Now when you do a search, where the emails are located will show up.


COMING SOON!
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable this under Settings.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Drag and drop messages to folders - Just click and hold on an email message, then drag and drop that message into a different folder. 
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders. 
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.

  2. Colors/Themes

    I did not like the gray background of read e-mails. The unread ones should be bold black as they were previously and the read ones should be on a white or lighter background. It is currently very confusing...

  3. NEW EMAIL AND UNREAD IN DARK MODE HARD TO DIFFERENTIATE

    In the new version of Yahoo Mail, any read and unread messages in dark mode are so hard to differentiate. It was better in the older version.

  4. New themes have no color contrast and I hate the lopsided waste of space in the righthand sidebar

    Literally the only thing I can find about the new Yahoo Mail that I like is the fact that it's possible to get rid of the stupid date dividers in the inbox. The themes are physically painful to look at.

    Everything is incredibly lopsided with the huge wasted space in the sidebar on the right side.

    There isn't enough contrast, and there's no sense of flow in the design with the level of minimalism and everything the same color. It makes it very difficult to actually focus on anything. The way that the emails go from light to dark when…

    I want badly to go back to previous view of the yahoo email. The new is so bad and unconfortable. I'm always searching to find something.. very bad experience!

  7. New UI is Horrible!

    This new UI is god awful! Can barely tell unread messages from read ones. Where are the visual queues for denoting at a glance? The fonts throughout are too similar to diferentiate. How to I get back to an older interface?

    I appreciate Yahoo's attempt to update mail, BUT
    This is like going back to Atari style views.
    You can't tell which of the grey highlighted messages you're looking at.
    You can't see the Send button on a new email since it is out of view.
    PLEASE go back to the old Yahoo Mail view!

  11. Main Menu Looks Too Simple

    This looks like a downgrade, way over simplified compaired to the previous version. Also looks like its trying to copy Gmail, I don't want Gmail I want Yahoo Mail.

    its too dark, i like the old mail better....more charcoal than black....the new version is not as easy on the eyes

    Where did the custom color mailboxes go?? That differentiated between by personal and work emails! Please make sure we can still change the color of the mailbox!

    You can't tell what is read and what is not read it's all WHITE or GRAY let's get it together because I don't have a go back button, it's horrible, not enjoying this at all
