WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

    Provide more coloured themes, instead of resorting to just the monochrome ones.

  2. New format for emails is awful

    What ever you changed on the email is dead set hurting my eyes.

    It is harder to find the logo in my tabs.
    It is harder to tell which emails are unread.
    it is harder to see fields to write an email.
    It is already impossible to read emails with multiple replies and is now even harder as everything is less defined making it harder to see what can be collapsed etc etc.

    PLEASE change it back

  3. NEW EMAIL AND UNREAD IN DARK MODE HARD TO DIFFERENTIATE

    In the new version of Yahoo Mail, any read and unread messages in dark mode are so hard to differentiate. It was better in the older version.

  5. Legacy Layout

    The new imbox layout is god awful. Fire instantly whoever designed and/or approved this abominable change.
    GIVE US at least an option to use the old layout. This is horrendous. I am convinced that either no one at Yahoo has eyes or they do not use yahoo mail because there is no other explanation why this new inbox layout was approved.

  6. turn optional the rigth panel (favoreite, contacts, more)

    turning this part into a top line panel like "anchors" will provie a cleaner screen layout and makes the sugested layout more pratical moving away from standard layout (left + middle + right)

  7. In Dark Mode, links in a mail's text are not highlighted in color

    In Dark Mode, links in a mail's text are not highlighted in color, but in the same color as the rest of the text.

    Links which are not underlined are not recognizable as links.
