WHAT'S NEW?
Search by Sender - Just hover over the sender's profile image and a spyglass icon will appear where you can search all emails by that sender.
Multi-Tasking Tabs - Like before, open an email in a new tab.
AI Summaries - Ability to disable. Go to Settings > AI Features > Toggle Off
Number of Total Messages - Hover over the Inbox Icon and you will see both total number of messages and unread.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.

Differentiate Unread v. Read - Better ways to see the difference.
Resize Images - Resize an image within the message.
Inbox Categories - Default to "All" category instead of always Priority.
Right Hand Column - Ability to minimize: Contacts, Starred, More (Currently for Yahoo Mail Plus subscribers)


TIPS:
Inbox Categories - You can go back to having just ONE Inbox. Go to Settings > Personalize Inbox.
Keep Folders Expanded - First expand left hand column by hovering on Inbox edge until you see Double Arrows. Then a drop down will show up next to Folders.
Bulk Delete - Click on a checkbox from your Inbox and a new checkbox will appear at the top. From there you can Select All and Delete All.
Sender's Email Address - You don't have to open the message to see the sender's email address. Just hover over the sender's name from your Inbox.
Dark Mode - Go to Settings > Appearance.

  2. NEW EMAIL AND UNREAD IN DARK MODE HARD TO DIFFERENTIATE

    In the new version of Yahoo Mail, any read and unread messages in dark mode are so hard to differentiate. It was better in the older version.

  3. Add a "compact" view to the email interface

    Paddings are way too large, text is too big:
    - Around the top nav bar
    - The rows with the emails are way too large, I'd like to see more of them on my screen
    - The buttons are way too big they have too much padding

    Other issues :
    The search bar is not centered in the middle
    Hovering over the rows (emails) has an outer box shadow which feels clunky, I prefer the subtle highlights.
    The new message button is HUGE too much padding and margins

  4. When viewing a mail folder make text smaller, list of subjects tighter AND NO GREY SHADOW FOR MSGS VIEWED

    Get rid of the large grey fill for emails viewed. Bold text for unviewed and light text for viewed is sufficient.
    The subject lines should not be so tall.

  5. Stick to a theme

    I like things dark. And it's great that you have a dark theme. That is, unless I click on the Calendar or Notes icon on the right. Then my eyes get BLASTED with a big white screen. That's just rude. Why can't you guys be consistent across apps? And to be honest, it would be better if the icons opened the Notes and Calendar in that same window, like the "Starred" and "Contacts" screens do. It's like you have completely different teams working on projects and not talking to each other at all! It makes for a decidedly unpleasant user…

    In Dark Mode, links in a mail's text are not highlighted in color, but in the same color as the rest of the text.

    Links which are not underlined are not recognizable as links.
